"Ok so...this weekend is the overnight hotel date stay...and then, wait...already? Oh damn next week is our trip..."

Monday Chan was back to work swamped with his schedule, he thought things eased up the weeks before but now he had so much to do again.

Especially making sure things were taken care of this week before their travels. He would only work 2 days next week as well, so coordinating things with the staff was getting hectic.

Felix was back to his own routine of work and his design project, but he still would try to make time to see the older at work.

He knew Chan was busy and overwhelmed Monday, but not expecting him to be the same into Tuesday...

*meow*

"Channie? Here I am!" Felix meowed going into Chan's office, he closed the door running up to his desk.

"Hm...oh hey sweetie..." Chan glanced to him typing at his keyboard, Felix noticed the older didn't say much.

Channie is still busy?

"I'm here Channie! I'm going to use the bathroom and be back!" Felix meowed dropping his backpack on the couch, the older just hummed with a sigh focusing on his work.

This part is almost done...

Chan looked at the time seeing almost 3 pm, he was working on something for Dr. Park that needed to be done and sent in 10 minutes. And then more patients and meetings he had.

He didn't realize had been so busy the whole day, he didn't even eat lunch or take a break really.

*meow*

Felix came back shortly with a happy meow closing the door again, he padded closer to Chan purring his name.

"Channie I'm back!" He giggled, Chan just nodded still typing.

"Mmhm..."

Felix looked at him and then his computer, thinking the older has been overwhelmed.

"Channie, did you take a break today...?" Felix meowed with some worry, Chan shook his head muttering about work to himself. The boy pouted knowing how Chan gets with his work.

That's not good...oh wait! I know!

"Channie! Come and get macarons with me!" Felix purred for his attention slipping his arms around Chan's neck hugging him, the older gently petted Felix's hand then kept typing as he glanced at the time.

"I can't right now princess...you go ahead..." Chan sighed some staring at the screen, Felix purred louder trying for Chan's attention still.

"But Channie, you love macarons too!" Felix giggled rubbing his cheek in Chan's hair, the older sighed again getting distracted because he had to focus on his work.

"Kitten, not right now-"

"I'll feed you Channie~
You like it when I do-"

"Felix I said I can't right now, I have a deadline I need to meet in 6 minutes" Chan huffed in tone removing Felix's arms from his neck to keep typing, the boy gave a worried meow.

*meow*

"...um...do you need my help-"

"No Felix, just...just go talk to Ren or something. I need to finish this" Chan snapped at him not sparing a glance as he waved his hand for the hybrid to give him some space, Felix gave a sad meow looking at him then down.

"Ok...I'm sorry..." Felix teared up a bit from Chan hurting his feelings, he turned around not leave Chan's office. Peeking over his shoulder to see Chan not even seeing him off.
