While Felix slept at home Chan continued along his workday, he tried to finish up early wanting to get home to the younger as soon as he could.
Around 5 pm he did so, picking up a few things on the way for Felix.
*click*
"Princess...? I'm home..." Chan said not too loud in case Felix was asleep, but to his surprise the boy was napping on the living room floor with the TV on.
"Cute..." Chan smiled kicking off his shoes, he went to set a bag down on the counter then went to Felix in the living room holding a bouquet of flowers.
"Kitty cat? Wake up my kitty~" Chan smiled crouching down to gently pet his head, Felix purred awake sensing Chan's scent.
*meow*
"Channie...?" He meowed lifting his head.
"Hey sweet kitty, you have a nice cat nap? I'm home. And I brought you these~"
"C-Channie...these are for me...?" Felix was in awe to see the flowers as he sat up, Chan nodded with a smile.
"Yes baby, you had a rough day. Oh! And I got you these too~" Chan got up rushing over to the counter, Felix slowly got up following him to see as he smelled the flowers setting them on the table.
*meow*
"I got kitten fresh ice cream and sushi for dinner tonight~" Chan took everything out to take to the table too, Felix smiled and purred twirling his tail.
"Really?? Thank you Channie!" He meowed with a giggle seeing everything.
"Anything for my adorable kitty~
So cute-"
*meow*
Chan was about to pull him into a hug but the boy stepped back again flinching a bit...the older forgot Felix's body was still nervous and sensitive to touch from the incident earlier.
It was silent as the older slowly stopped his movements.
"Um...Channie-"
"I'm sorry kitten, I forgot you're sensitive to being touched still...it's ok. No touching you unless you're ok with it. Hm?" Chan smiled a bit, but on the inside he was sad he couldn't hug the boy.
Felix shyly nodded pulling at the hem of the sweatshirt.
*meow*
"Well, does kitty want to eat now? I'm sure you want your sushi" he slowly reached his hand out to him, Felix looked at it reaching his small hand to hold.
"Y-yes Channie..." he smiled softly.
"Perfect my princess..."
The pair started to eat their dinner and side dishes while Felix admired the flowers in the vase.
"Thank you for my pretty flowers Channie!" He meowed and purred looking at them.
"Kitten deserves the best~" Chan teased back, Felix giggled some eating more sushi. While doing so, Chan couldn't help stare at Felix's neck and shoulder...the sweatshirt was oversized so it showed some of his skin.
Chan seeing it was still red from the hot tea burn...
"Kitten..."
*meow*
"Yes Channie?" Felix asked chewing a roll, Chan drank some water then spoke up again.
"Sweetheart...are you ok with having bath time later...? I'll make sure the water isn't too hot for you..." Chan asked delicately, Felix chewed his roll and swallowed becoming quiet.
When he didn't respond Chan spoke up again.
"It's ok, baby...we don't have to-"
"I-I guess it's ok...as long as Channie...doesn't make it too hot...and I can use my apple bath bomb...?" He asked with big eyes, Chan smiled reaching to hold his hand.
"Ok kitten, anything you want...before bath time I'll check you though. I have to...but I'll be very gentle ok?" Chan kissed his hand, Felix shyly nodded again meowing.
*meow*

The pair ate dinner and had the fresh ice cream for desert, now Chan was prepping the bath for them making sure the water wasn't too hot or cold. Felix was sitting on the bed answering messages from his friends, shortly after Chan came for him.
"Kitten? The bath is ready...but let me check you first, ok?" Chan smiled sitting on the bed, Felix became shy but nodded placing his phone to charge.
"Ok Channie..."
"Good kitty...come here and turn around"
*meow*
Chan motioned for Felix to come close to him, the boy slowly crawled over following so. He timidly sat in his knees, reaching for the bottom of the sweatshirt. Pulling it off he winced a bit in pain giving sad meows Chan heard.
Kitten
Inch by inch he pulled the fabric up, Chan saw his skin still a deep pink and sensitive. He let the boy fully remove it, holding the top in his lap nervously as his tail twitched around.
Chan sighed bringing his hands to inspect his body, it wasn't as red as before...but he could see it pained the younger still.
"Ok sweetheart, I'm just checking...you can growl If anything hurts too much" Chan petted his head, Felix looked over his shoulder to him meowing.
*meow*
"Good kitten...ok..." Chan gently trailed his fingertips on Felix's neck and shoulders checking him carefully, he looked to see the pink tint around the large scar on Felix's back too.
When his hand touched it Felix indeed began to growl making Chan pull his hand away.
"Ok ok, here is still extra sensitive...almost done"
Chan kept checking him then gently turned him around when he finished.
*meow*
"Ok kitten, I'm done. Your body is still sensitive so I'll give you more pain medication tonight, and nothing naughty for us until you've recovered. Ok baby?" Chan cupped his cheek telling the younger, Felix nodded keeping his gaze down.
"Yes Channie...no naughty stuff..." he pouted, Chan smiled some kissing his head.
"Yes kitten, we must wait~" he teased lightly, Felix purred from his touch looking at him.
*meow*
The older then kissed his cheeks and forehead, looking into Felix's eyes not saying anything.
"Channie...?" He meowed with big eyes.
"Kitten...you're a very brave and sweet kitty for trying to protect Gowon like that today..." Chan whispered rubbing his thumb on Felix's cheek, the boy purred louder nuzzling his face in Chan's palm.
"Channie says we protect people we care about...Gowon is my friend...I care about her" he meowed innocently, Chan smiled kissing his lips passionately.
"And I taught my kitty very well, just like I protect him. My Angel kitty you are~" Chan praised, Felix giggled some with a blush.
"Channie..."
"Even though you had good intent, I'm so sorry you got hurt today...but I'm glad I was there to take care of you. You know I don't like my kitty hurt or sad" he teased some, Felix giggled some more wrapping his arms around Chan's neck.
"Channie makes me happy...!"
"And kitten makes me happier~" Chan rubbed his nose on Felix's.
*meow*
"Channie makes me happy and I love Channie! Channie is my Channie!" Felix purred rubbing his cheek against Chan's. The older chuckled and smiled holding his hips close to him.
"Yes my blue eyed kitty...kitten is my kitty and I'll always be your Channie..."
