After Felix finished his hot chocolate, they had their bath...and then Chan promised the younger they would 69 before going to sleep since the hybrid kept whining for it...
Chan thought after a long stressful day he could get a good night sleep undisturbed but...
*buzz*buzz*buzz*
"..."
*buzz*buzz*buzz*
"Hm...?"
Chan groaned hearing his phone going off, he was cuddling the younger under the sheets tired as hell. But his phone kept vibrating...
Ugh...
He sighed rolling over seeing the time show 2 am, then his phone going off. At first it stopped vibrating so he tried to ignore it.
Let me sleep...
He pulled the younger's bare body back close to his own cuddling the boy again, it was quiet as Chan nuzzled his face in Felix's hair dozing off...
But...
*buzz*buzz*buzz*
For the love of god-
Chan huffed reaching behind him to grab his phone, squinting his eyes to see who was contacting him. He looked at the screen seeing it was Dr. Park calling.
The hell does he want this late??
Chan rubbed his eyes open sitting up to answer.
"Yes Dr. Park...? It's 2 am-"
"Chan! Great news! I found a better replacement for me, she will be there Monday! She has a better background and I think a better fit!"
"Ok...? And why couldn't this have waited until tomorrow? Ya know when I'm not trying to sleep?" Chan sighed again.
"Oh sorry! My sleep patterns have been off, have a good night!"
And with that he hung up on Chan, the other just shook his head putting his phone back.
"Well that was unnecessary..." he huffed again, he looked around seeing Felix asleep then to the window seeing the night sky.
Great and now I'm awake
Chan slipped out of bed grabbing his shorts to slip on, he pulled the sheets back on Felix kissing his cheek.
"I'll be back kitten..." he whispered then left their room, Chan now was awake and decided to get water.
That guy...always wakes me up!
Chan rolled his eyes as his sleep got disturbed, he went to fill a glass and drink water as he went to the living room window.
Watching the few cars down below in the city lit up, he put his glass down on the table near the couch then stepped closer to the glass door opening it.
Chan went out to the terrace breathing in the night cool air, going closer to the railing to look over.
My life isn't easy sometimes...
Chan would think about all the stress and issues being a doctor, thinking what his life would have been like if he chose a different profession.
He smiled to himself looking up.
I think I would have been an athlete or something-
*meow*
In the middle of his thoughts he heard a small meow, looking over his shoulder he saw Felix sleepily peeking from inside. The younger had slipped on one of Chan's shirts looking oversized on him.
"Kitten?"
"Channie...? How come you're awake and out here...?" Felix padded out to the terrace closer to him, Chan smiled some turning around reaching his arms out.
"Hey sweetheart..." he said with some somber which Felix sensed.
*meow*
"Channie...? Is something wrong?" Felix meowed twitching his cat ears, the older just sighed with a smile pulling the younger close to his chest.
"No baby, I'm ok..." Chan kissed his nose slipping his arms around the younger's waist, but Felix could still tell Chan sounded not so happy.
"Channie...why do you sound sad?" Felix meowed with worry cupping his face, the older's smile faded as he looked away. Knowing how he could read Felix's emotions so well, the younger could too...
"I'm not sad, I was just thinking about my life...my work..." Chan took a another breath looking away.
"Your life...? What do you mean Channie...?" Felix meowed tilting his head, the older gently let his hips go as he turned around facing the city again. He sighed leaning against the railing as he ran his hand through his hair.
"Channie...?"
"I was just thinking about my work...my job...would my life have been less stressful if I did something else? Probably..." Chan muttered staring at another building, Felix didn't know why Chan was now suddenly questioning his life.
*meow*
"Channie...are you saying...your job doesn't make you happy anymore?" He meowed sadly inching closer to his back, Chan shook his head humming.
"That's not what I really mean kitten...*sigh* like, I enjoy the medical field. And I love being a doctor...but sometimes the work and stress gets too much...or I have to deal with bullshit...like today with that rude Dr. Mun...damn prick he is" Chan felt irritated thinking about the day. Felix remembered too as he quietly fidgeted with the hem of the long shirt.
*meow*
"I just wish that...things could go easy for me, ya know?...Actually, never mind...I know I'm not making sense..." Chan exhaled watching more cars drive around. Felix meowed as he listened.
*meow*
The older became quiet but then felt Felix's small hands on his waist.
*meow*
He looked down to see the younger's arms wrap around him, then felt Felix's body against his back. The younger hugged him from behind starting to purr loudly knowing it calms the older.
"Kitten...?" Chan looked over his shoulder, Felix nuzzled his face into Chan's back holding him tight as he twirled his tail around the older's thigh.
*meow*
"It will be ok Channie...I'll take care of Channie when he has stressy stuffs..." Felix purred rubbing his cheek on the older's back, Chan smiled again gently resting his hands on Felix's arms.
"Kitty princess..."
"Channie said...when there are downs in life...there are ups...so I'll help Channie with all his stressy stuff...Channie is my wolfy..." Felix meowed shyly, Chan gave a small chuckle looking to the night sky seeing the stars as Felix's purrs indeed calmed his stress already.
*meow*meow*
Felix kept meowing and purring to help Chan feel better, the older slowly turned around gently cupping Felix's cheeks.
"And you, my beautiful kitty princess has definitely made my life so much better being apart of it...I know I have a lot to deal with my work...but I wouldn't even make it through most my days if it wasn't for you...so thank you for being my soulmate kitty" Chan kissed him rubbing his nose on the younger's, Felix purred and giggled kissing him back.
"C-Channie found me...and I found Channie! We're together forever Channie!" Felix meowed happily, Chan looked into his eyes. Those same beautiful different colored eyes that were just like his, reminding him of their inseparable love and bond...
"Yes my lovely kitty...I found myself in you...and we found our beautiful love...together"
