Close to mid-month Chan's busy new year schedule eased up gradually, the renovations were still going on at the office but at least he could have more time to visit Felix at work or at home.

"Kitty cat! I'm going out!"

*meow*

First weeknight of the week he wanted to have some fun with his coworkers and hang out, he was going to meet up with some at a bar in the city.

He came home after work to have a quick dinner with the boy, then had to change to head out.

Felix was on the couch watching TV when he heard Chan's voice, he looked over his shoulder to see the older grab his coat and things.

"Ok Channie! I'll be home watching my shows!" He giggled leaning over the couch, Chan smiled going up to him to give a kiss.

"Ok pretty kitty, you have fun and I'll be back later! No waiting up for me if it's gets too late" Chan teased petting his head.

*meow*

"Yes Channie! Bye bye!"

"Bye princess~"

While Felix relaxed at home Chan was enjoying his fun with his friends, all of them talking about how busy work has been.

"Damn! Always the first few weeks of the month are our busiest!" Minho joked drinking his beer.

"Ya! It gets crazy with new patients!" Olivia added.

"Well the crazy first weeks are over, let's drink!" Chan cheered with them, all the doctors at the practice and few other of Chan's friends were there as they talked around the table.

They were having fun for hours until one of them noticed it began to snow heavily outside.

"Wait, are we getting another storm...?" JR looked asking them.

"Maybe...? Let me see..." Chan sighed checking the weather, he indeed showed it was snowing heavily in other parts of the city. The front was slowly moving to them as he showed everyone the forecast.

"Shit...so much for a late night out..." Jeongin pouted.

"Ya...I guess we should head out soon before it hits us here...then we can't get home" Chan sighed back.

The all decided to call it a night even though it wasn't too late since they wanted to get home safely, Chan got to his car leaving shortly after since his home was close to a 40 minute drive.

"Fuck...it's coming down here already??" Chan drove extra slow seeing that the closer he got to the city he lives in, the heavier snow.

Even now noticing the street lights and power was out from most buildings along the way.

Damn storms...we already had a ton...
Then it ices overnight...
This Is why I tell Felix-

"Wait..." Chan was thinking to himself then pulled himself into a deeper thought about the snow. If the power was slowly going out all over each city as he drove closer to home....

That means the snow is already hitting where they live...and the power would be out...

The penthouse without electricity or heat...

Where Felix is all alone right now.

"Shit!! This isn't good!"

Even if Chan wanted to speed home he couldn't from so much heavy snow, at this point him and more cars were going 10 mph in slow traffic.

"Fuck! Of all the nights this happens...it happens when I go out..." Chan groaned in frustration gripping the steering wheel. He was trying to see if he could call Felix from his car but the storm gave him bad reception not being able to reach him.
