Moriko's P.O.V

Everything is going according to plan, yes! Finally, the storyline is progressing. Naruto failed, of course, and after school, I rushed home to make a big dinner to congratulate Sasuke for passing.

"Are you surprised?" He said smugly, and I shake my head.

"You are so damn arrogant, you know that? NO, I'm not surprised gremlin. This is something worth celebrating, though. Things will get tougher from here on out, but also way more exciting. You'll be assigned to your team tomorrow." He grunts at that and walks into the kitchen to pull out our table placements.

"Who's on it? Do you know?" I nod and can't help but laugh at what's to happen tomorrow morning.

He's gonna be so pissed!

"Tell me." And I give him the 'have you lost your mind' look. "Please."

I laugh and answer, "That's not what I was looking for, but thanks for adding it. I can't tell you, sorry. You know that could potentially ruin things." He walks back to the living room and sets the table, then starts packing his bag for training.

"I'm going to train for a bit." He says, before walking to the door. "I'll be back for dinner."

"Cool, I'm heading out in a bit as well. There's something that's supposed to happen today that I need to see."

"Does it have something to do with Naruto?" He asks, and I freeze.

How in the hell. . .

Am I that obvious?

"Tsk. Forget it. You don't have to tell me, I was just--"

"Yes." He whips around to face me at my answer. I cover the beef stew pot and walk over to him.

"So, you admit it." He says a little surprised.

"How'd you know?"

"You're easy to read."

"No, I'm not."

"Whatever."

"Gremlin. Okay, I'll tell you about it a little since you won't be able to interfere anyway."

"You sure that's a good idea?" He puts his pack down and I glance out the window. It's still light out, and I know where Naruto will be. I've already found the hideout Mizuki-sensei will tell Naruto to meet him at, and plan to go there early.

That scroll is where he learns one of his signature moves. One that I'll admit, will come in handy if I can perform it well. There are also rumored to be other jutsus in there as well, forbidden of course. Thanks to my limited fandom knowledge they are mentioned but no hand signs are known for.

"I'm going somewhere potentially dangerous to get my hands on some information. Think of it as a mission." Sasuke raises his eyebrows slightly, then frowns.

"What does Naruto have to do with this?"

"He's why I'm going. He'll be in danger. My vision says he'll be saved, though."

"So, then why are you going? What information is so valuable that a loser like Naruto will have it and you'd risk your life to get it?" I frown when he calls Naruto a loser, and he rolls his eyes.
