"Time's up. I'm sorry. She won't last much longer. Her chakra levels for a deep dive like this are staggering."

"But you said if her pulse---"

"It's steady, yes, but she's running out of chakra to continue her search."

Sakura sighs solemnly as Inoichi gets up from his chair and walks to his daughter's bedside.

The moment he reaches her, Ino's eyes shoot open, and she sits straight up in the bed.

With the people in the room startled, only Sakura is able to speak up at the moment.

"Ino-chan?! You're back!" The pinkette's voice cuts through the shock of everyone in the room. "And. . . Moriko? How is she? Did you find her?"

Her father doesn't give her a moment to answer Sakura however, and immediately gives her a glass of water, calling over a medic to give her a once-over.

Ino shoos them away and finishes the water within seconds.

"I... think I did. She was the only one with chakra."

"Tell us what happened," Sasuke speaks up, " and why she isn't awake yet."

The young Yamanaka girl nods, and team seven gathers around to listen.

"I landed in her ComfortScape. That's the place your mind goes when you're scared. It's supposed to be inescapable, but I found a way out thanks to her little helpers."

"Little helpers?" Inoichi asks curiously. His daughter nods.

"I guess they represented her emotions and ideas. A small wolf cub led me to her memories. Once I found the memory that was emitting chakra, I went through the door and there she was. She was. . . older, and had brown eyes and hair, but I'm positive it was her."

"Then what?" Naruto asked anxiously, looking back at Moriko who still lays motionless on the bed.

"Well. . . every time I tried to get her attention, the memory. . . started over. She could. . . sense me, but it was like, she couldn't escape the loop. Sometimes, it'd switch to other memories with her in it. I'd get thrown deeper in, farther away from her when that happened. I had to re-search sometimes. But I finally got her attention when her death memory surfaced."
