Dear diary,

MATTHEW LOOKED AT ME TODAY!! So it all started when I was walking in the halls and accidently bumped into Sugar. She muttered "B*tch" under her breath as she walked away. And you know what I said about being nice? Thats exactly what I did. "Have a nice day!" I told Sugar. Then I kept on walking. Thats when I noticed Matthew looking at me. I think it was becuse I was nice to Sugar. I smiled at him, and then he walked away. I wondered if it meant anything.

After school May called me. She was in tears. "Sorry to bother you, its just...my parents have been fighting more and more and I just need someone to talk to" she sniffled. "That sucks, Im sorry" I said. "Yeah, it does" she cried. "This is kinda off topic but what does it mean when a guy looks at you? Does it mean he likes you?" May went silent. "Hello?" I said. "Is this about Matthew?" she asked. "Maybe" I said. "Electra, how do I say this...he's taken. It's not like you can just take him from Sugar. I know its hard but-" she said. But I interuppted her. "I thought you were on my side" I said. "I am" she said. "Oh really? Cause it seems to me like youre taking Sugar's side" I said. "Electra, I...I gotta go" she said. "Bye" I said as I hung up the phone.

It seemed like she was mad at me or something. I dont get why she'd be mad, all I did was ask her a question. And why did it seem like she was taking Sugar's side over mine? Oh well, it'll all blow over tommorow.
