what just happened

POV Charlie

I had seconds to act, something was clearly wrong with Crystal, her eyes, her eyes were red, what happened to her, Crystal looked at Meeps, and I know what she was thinking, I will not permit her to hurt Meeps. 

I calculated the angle, and how long it would take to travel, I was still hurt, and I couldn't let Crystal hurt Meeps, not Meeps, not after what she's done to help me, I activated my shield and jumped between Meeps and Crystal.

as soon as the lighting touched my already low energy bracelet died, This was not my smartest choice, the lightning latched on to my body, it hurt, it hurt a lot, really I should have guessed that, better me than Meeps, that poor child has already been through enough.

I hit the ground, I tried to move, to call out to Crystal, but I couldn't, Darkness overtook me, I had failed, in the end, I failed Crystal, Razer, Ember, Rain, Stella, really does sum it up, doesn't it? 

POV 3rd person

"SISTER NO!" Razer called as the blue portal closed. 

Shiela with less than a happy look turned to Razer, "Must run in the family," she said, learning at him. 

Meeps was frozen, Charlie's hurt limp body at her, she didn't speak but her mind was active, 'No, no, no, I failed, I failed, I failed, again, again, again,' she was thinking on repeat. 

Rain was also frozen, the look on Crystal's face. it had remained him of that day in Glacierford, fighting the nether horde and learning Abigail was alive, and on the nether's side. he couldn't act, he couldn't think.

Patrick was in utter shock, not because of Crystal turning on them, but because she hurt Charlie, because she took Dexter, what was she going to do to her, Dexter was a trusted friend. Azura had done the first thing that came to mind, Charlie, she want to make sure he was alive.

Stella was just staring in fear, the last time Crystal attacked them, she handed Stella over to the  Entity, and Stella felt off, like something was missing from her.

Razer wasn't the only one to yell when Crystal took Dexter, "Crystal Stop!" Moon had called, but no luck.

Ember looked about, "I might not be the smartest... BUT I CAN TELL THIS IS BAD! REALLY BAD!" Ember yelled.

Alex was more enjoying the show, wishing he had some popcorn and a chair, so much that when kyle looked over marched to him, and slapped him hard.

Daryll and Hilda looked at each other, the two sharing the same thought, Someone had to Lyria that Crystal, someone Lyria had respected and liked might have killed Charlie, one of her mentors, and kidnapped her sister. 

Marc lowed his sword, turned and left going for the closest Nether portal, Abigail's connection to Charlie meant she felt his mind call out in pain when Crystal attacked him, she didn't rush over to check on him, instead, she planned, when she was with the Master, she learned who Crystal was and had a plan to kill her, a plan she will happily put into Action.

 "This is what happens when you land in another dimension," Jun complained. 

Damian shushed him, "I'm sure Crystal will snap out of it, she's one tough cookie," he said.

Nina was thinking, what anyone had done to deserve this. 

"CHARLIE DO SOMETHING...." Andrew's words fell off as he saw Charlie unmoving on the ground.

POV Ciara

I was beyond happy, Kane was back, my best and oldest friend was back, we've retaken Frostbourne, beaten the Controllers army, everything was looking up, I was catching Kane up, as we found, Gwendoly, Lance and Ceris.
