POV Kyle
I woke, in my bed, in my castle, alone like always, it had been a little while since we beat the Entity, and I still felt shit, I looked in the mirror, the heavy deep-set eye and the fake robotic eye stared out at me, that damned eye, I wish I lost it in a badass fight but no, I pushed my friend out of the way of the Entity's weapon.
Charlie had felt guilty for me getting in the way, so he built me the eye so I could see still, it has a whole bunch of extras but I never use it, it would make my head spin. I know today that I would receive a weekly update from Frostbourne updating me of anything important to the nether. despite the fact, that in a few hours, I'll go to Frostbourne to see Charlie.
my true thoughts on the frostbourne are mixed, I hate most of them, Patrick likes to remind me that my people had surrendered to him, and his soldiers mock and insult me, the whole place is too cold, the only reason I do keep up my alliance with them is that Charlie lives there.
I took one last look in the mirror. "A king, pff," I walked away. "I'm no king, I'm a joke everyone thinks it," I mumbled, I walked over to my cabinet and pulled out my armour, slowly clipping on each part.
then a knock at my door, I opened it Marc was there, the Ex assassin although skilled and wise is also no leader, we try but the nether is so unstable. "Marc, what do you want?" I asked.
"Sorry to disturb you my lord, but the Bandit has arrived from the Frostbourne," Marc said.
I sighed and without another word I left for my throne room, Daryll was standing there staring out at the lava flats where this castle was built over. "Bandit," I said.
"Asshole who betrayed his friends and tried to kill them," Daryll said, still not turning to me, I noticed that Marc must have taken his weapons.
"A bit harsh," I said walking over to him.
Daryll finally turned to me. "no," he said. "I have the reports from Frostbourne,"
"Anything actually interesting?" I asked
Daryll shook his head. "Troop moment, a few more things to give clearance on,"
I sighed and took some paperwork. "Get comfortable, we'll be here awhile,"
Daryll shrugged and went back to staring out the window, I read through everything slowly making sure to reread it all, it was boring, and had nothing to do with me, or the nether. "Daryll these have....." something hit into my armour, knocking me off my throne to the floor.
something else hit Daryll down, no way someone else, A man 7 foot tall in light hardened leather armour was standing, a diamond machete in his hand, he had short cropped black hair, left eye red, right eye blue.
he didn't have any potion effect around him, so how he got there so fast, he run the blade over Daryll's neck, not breaking the skin but making a show of it. "When I got that contract I wasn't expecting one of Frostbournes higher-ups,"
I got to my feet and summoned up my energy blades. "And who the bloody nether are you?" I asked.
"not important," he said, and with a blink, he was gone, I was kicked across the room and into Daryll.
I jumped back up. "How'd get over there?" another blink and he was gone again. then I hit into my throne.
the assassin laughed. "Here I thought you might prove a challenge," he pulled up his machete and for the first time walked over to me, and raised the machete then he got smacked around the head by a red rock.
