POV 3rd person

Shelia and Alex after fighting Crystal found themselves stranded here in a frozen barren tundra. Alex had pulled his jacket closed in the biting cold of the tundra, Sheila was unaffected by the cold.

the tundra was almost like an apocalypse, in the time since the fight there were no signs of life, just snow and constant snowfall, no one around, no buildings, nothing but snow. Sheila was leading through the thick deep snow. Alex follows behind. they had no way of navigating the sky thick with grey clouds.

Alex had considered heating himself up with a fire, but neither of them had a way to start a fire. so that idea never came through. and the two kept going and going. and after what to Alex felt like an eternity then heard something.

"WHERE IS IT! IT'S MEANT TO BE HERE SOMEWHERE, THIS IS WHERE IT SHOULD BE!" a voice yelled.

the voice came from the other side of a large hep of snow and dirt that looked like it had been blown out of the ground, a soft thin layer of snow covering it. and standing down this massive crater was an armoured person. the Arcane Knight

the arm cannon fired again. "I NEED THAT RELIC! WHERE IS IT!" They yelled.

Alex raised his gun, kill this person now and save a lot of time, was the idea. Sheila was too busy staring at the Arcane Knight as they blow up yet another hole in the ground. "something tells me that thing would be hard...."

Alex shot from his pistol the bullet deflecting off a shield around the Arcane Knight. the helmet didn't even turn but their arm cannon fired a massive ball of white energy. it smashed into the pile of dirt they were on and sent the pair flying.

Sheila managed to land on her feet readying her sword. Alex on the other hand hi4 the ground tumbled and fell into a ditch. a small pile of dirt landing on him. "Really?" the Arcane Knight said walking out of the hole.

Sheila charged forward and brought her sword around towards the Knight. the arm cannon shifted into a hand grabbing the sword's blade. pulling it from Sheila and chucking it away. "if a gun isn't going to kill me, why would your sword?" they asked.

Shelia punched at them and kicked. but the shield was too strong the hits bouncing off them. the Arcane Knight hit her back. "My amour us by far the most advance thing in this dimension, your weapons can't hurt me," The Arcane Knight slammed into Sheila knocking her back. "I've lived through hell, felt my body burning, Experience the cold lifeless blackness of the void for years and years. and if that could not stop me what made you think an Idiot and a worthless worrier would be against me?"

they walked forward and Shelia grabbed her sword again. but this time she didn't attack the Arcane Knight, No she jumped back away from the Knight as they raised their arm. Alex pushed the dirt off him and fired at the Arcane knight.

the bullet hit the point where the energy was building up. Alex was simply trying to stop the Arcane knight from killing Sheila, What he didn't know was that at the point the energy fired the shields of the Knight's armour were dropped. Alex fired at just the right moment to hit the building energy.

A massive explosion and all three were sent flying. Sheila slammed into a half-decayed and buried stone wall that was uncovered from the snow. she recovered just in time to see Alex land and slide across a frozen-over pond.

Alex stood and looked down as the ice cracked slightly. the pound was wide and long. "I can make it off here no problem," Alex said. he was being stupid again. then the Arcane knight slammed into the ice.

Alex brought his pistol up and shoot ice under them. it cracked under the heaver Arcane knight first, the Knight looked down and fell through the ice and into the water. the ice under Alex started to crack.

but it didn't break the ice suddenly froze back over. Alex didn't question it and just ran off the ice over to Sheila. "Did we kill it?"

The answer came in the form of a fist smashing through the ice as the Arcane Knight pulled themself out of the water. "Did you really think that was going to work?" the knight raised their arm.

but as the energy ball fired an ice wall appeared between the knight and the other two. "hay dome head why don't you take on someone your own size!"

the Arcane Knight turned and standing not far was a man in a purple jumper with blond hair and ice-blue eyes, holding a pair of energy axes. "You shouldn't be here," The Arcane Knight said.

the man shrugged. "Couldn't agree more," he said. "Now are you going to let them go?" he asked.

the Arcane Knight raised their arm cannon. the man chucked both his arcane axe. both of them melt into the armour. "Thanks for the power boost," and launched an energy ball. a mile-long ice wall appeared. "I don't have time for this right now," the air shimmered and the Knight disappeared.

"Hay well that didn't take much you coward," The man said. he walked up to Sheila and Alex. "Hello...." He stopped as a katana pointed at him. "Well that's a shape sword," He said.

"Who are you?" Sheila asked.

the man smiled. "Hello, I'm William and I'm looking for my friend," He said. "And I have a compass if it helps," William said. "oh and," he felt around his pockets. "this, a tracker that should lead us to Charlie although I don't think you know who he is,"

"A guy who's super smart who I sometimes want to kill and sometimes want to protect," Sheila said.

"Umm, that does sound a bit like..." William started.

"A big brain boi," Alex said.

William looked confused. "long scarf? sonic screwdriver?" he asked. Alex and Sheila nodded. William smiled. "Well, this isn't that a cool coincidence, so what have I missed on the overworld?"

"Charlie's girlfriend put him into a coma," Alex said quickly.

William thought for a moment. "Thing's have gotten a lot worse especially if he's got a girlfriend,"

Sheila stared at him for a moment. "That's your takeaway from that?"

William shrugged. "Not the first time he's been in a coma but is the first time he's had a girlfriend,"

Sheila looked around at the battlefield. "What do you think that person was after?"

"Nothing good," William said.

the Arcane Knight stood in the reality station. "It wasn't there you pile of junk!" they yelled smashing one of Zen's control panels.

"In...Information. they are too many variables," Zen said.

if the Arcane Knight believed different, they would have said the A.I was in pain, but A.I wasn't cable of that. or so they believed. "Find it, or I'll offline you for good, computer!"

"Run...Running simulation," Zen answered

"I need that relic if I'm going to change things back," They said. "48 hours to find it Zen, or I will end you!" the Arcane Knight said.
