POV Kyle

the camp was just ahead of us now, it was bordering Frostbourne territory, so we were waiting, Hilda had said she'd send over a group to add us to take it, normally I'd say no but we were in Frostboune lands this seemed like the wise choice.

A portal opened Crystal, Ember, Charlie and Razer came through. "Well, they certainly sent a team," Abigail muttered.

"Over here," I called to them.

"Keep your voice down," Charlie said coming over.

"so they don't hear us?" I asked.

"No," Razer said. "he's just got a hangover,"

"Charlie? with a hangover?" I had to hold back a laugh.

Abigail leaned in close. "Are you two wearing a ring?" she asked.

"Yeah, we're getting married," Crystal said full of glee, I could see Razer was almost put off by the idea of it.

"Em, Guys?" Ember asked.

"yes?" I asked.

"I take it that those guys aren't meant to be there," Ember pointed at a rather large group of wither skeletons standing in front of us.

"Right, that's what we needed you for," I said.

we jumped to action, me and Abigail leading the charge, the fight itself only lasted a few moments, our little group easily outmatched those here, and the few in the camp, even taking the captain alive.

"you guys heading back to frostbourne?" I asked.

Charlie rubbed his head. "not me, the reality station is nearby, so I'm gonna head there to work in peace and quiet," he said.

POV Charlie

the reality station was quiet, even Zen with his shared link to it from his new body was quiet, god why did I let Ciara talk me into that, I pressed a few buttons, brought up some readings, and began to work.

I worked on one of many projects and began, then it worked, it actually worked, I got a ping, I finally got it, after all this time searching, now to fix that massive rip in reality that is still sitting in the sky, now where.....'Buzz'....."what?" I pulled my phone out.

"Oh," I said.

POV Crystal

I...I didn't know what to say, what to do, my mother had just called me, Razer and Charlie to one of the hulls. "Mom? what's happening?"

"I'm leaving, I've been here long enough, I need to go back,"

my heart had dropped, my throat went dry, and I didn't know what to say, I just looked over to Razer.

Razer froze. "Wait what?"

"I have to, this isn't my time if I stay here..." Mom looked at me. "Well, Crystal wouldn't be the woman she is now,"

Razer looked at Mom. "You're her mom," he said. "She, of all people, should know."

"But...But if you go back...you'll die!" I said

Mom took a deep breath. "I know,"

Razer glared at Mom.

"Sheila, as King of the Underworld! I forbid you to..." he trails off, remembering that they were not in his world.

"Mother, please don't go," he whimpered. "I don't want to lose my family again..."

Mom walked over to Razer and took his hand. "And you weren't, you'll have Crystal, always,"
