POV 3rd person
nether Kyle stuck his head through the portal, appearing for the first time in his home for months, the fort was empty and quite abanded after his death, he took a moment to stare about the empty throne room before Rain came through the portal.
Rain stared at him for a moment and moved outside of the fort making sure it was clear, and soon the others came out, Alex and Sheila joining Rain, then Charlie came out of the portal and stood next to his oldest friend as he stared out of the window.
Razer was next through the portal and saw Charlie and Kyle just staring out through that window. "What are they doing?" He asked.
Lucas came through the portal. "Kyle was king, this was his world, and he lost it, it must hurt him to be here, I assume Charlie is comforting his friend," Lucas pulled his hood tight. "Personally I would be rid of this accursed place, my family might still be here if it was gone,"
Razer looked out of the door and saw Alex standing right by a Lava pool saying something to Rain. "Yeah, I know the feeling,"
the two soon joined the other outside, William came through and for a moment considered going over to his friends and helping them, then he remembered every moment of that war where Kyle had tried to kill him or worse, so he turned and walked out with the others.
Kyle stood there, out of this window he used to be able to overlook a wonderful warped forest, but now it was just a creator, no sign of the blue vines and trees, no movement. nothing at all, his home his people had spent this time fighting, and for what? all this death and destruction. "I have failed them all," he finally said.
Charlie sighed. "It'll get better, we'll make it better if we have to," Charlie said. "Come on,"
the others were talking, except Lucas, he was gone. "Come on, I'll lead the way, I know where I'm going," Kyle said, he careful lead them past soul sand dunes and lava pools until he brought them to a stop. "Pigman patrol looks like at least 10 of them,"
Sheila pulled her katana ready. "Is that meant to be a challenge?" she asked.
Kyle went to say something, then with a flash and serval screams, Lucas had taken down the pigmen without letting out a breath. "You're clear," Lucas called. Sheila grumbled that she didn't get to fight anything, but Rain reassured her that they'd be more things to fight.
Charlie looked at his umbrella, with Crystal in possession of his sword. he was still using this umbrella, in the year he's been here fighting for his life, and had gotten no better with a sword in fact he was certain he'd gotten worse.
"Nether scouts are spread out, a lot of them fighting Undead," Lucas said, he gave a shape look at Razer, almost like saying. 'your sister is causing all this,'
as everyone met with Lucas, suddenly pigmen and wither skeletons ran in and surrounded us. the pigmen all had a new weapon, a barrel with a ball out the end with a stick with a trigger on it.
"NO ONE MOVE!" the lead pigman said shooting an energy bolt from the weapon and hitting Lucas's sword out of his hand. Sheila got ready to go for them but Lucas stopped her, fearing she would get them all killed.
Kyle took half step forward. "Stand down!" he ordered.
the pigman in gold armour laughed. "the dead king is giving orders!"
"I am not dead, and I am warning you!" Kyle snapped. "we have a weapon yours do not stand a chance against,"
this made the pigman laugh even more. "You are a joke, you always have been, Nether king? you were never a king,"
