POV Kyle

I was outside the dreadfort, thinking, about what Abigail said. I know I had done bad things before, and I don't even know myself, I couldn't be trusted, could I? I can't even trust myself.

I was just walking when I made out the small silhouette of Meeps on the wall, waving her arms around. I didn't know what she was trying to do outside of maybe a new style of dance, then something pounded at the gate.

I stared and the people around me looked as well, a couple of guards gripped their spears and the civilians looked worried. then as the gate bulged. it burst open water flooding in, some weird underwater zombies being carried in with it.

I tried to put up that red shield Stella had called an Arcane shield but it just won't work. the water smashed into me. 'I swear to god if this is something to do with that girl I'm going to lose it,' I thought as I was smashed into a wall and blacked out.

POV 3rd person

Meeps watched as the water slammed into Kyle. "I think he hit his head," Andrew said.

"Maybe it'll help his head," Meeps answered.

the others on the wall near them, a few guards and defenders, walked to the edge of a wall, and then a trident lunched up and impaled a guard who fell from the wall with a scream and splashed into the water. as drowned started to calm the wall towards them.

"I think we're about to have our handful," One of the defenders said readying their sword.

within the dreadfort, Lilith walked in calmy, guards lying dead on the floor. then Moon and Stella rounded the corner. "hello girls," she said.

Moon and Stella looked at each other. "Run?" Stella asked. Moon nodded, the two raced back down the hull finding Elisabeth and Wolf beating a group of guards together. Wolf wasn't in her power armour nor had her guns and unarmed combat clearly wasn't her area as she had several cuts a cross her arms and chest from the guards she was fighting.

"Why won't they die!" Elisabeth asked throwing her digging into one of them. before they pulled it and chucked it back, Elisabeth catching it.

Wolf grabbed the guard in front of her and chucked them at the guard fighting Elisabeth. "Black lines again," Wolf said.

the two saw Moon and Stella. "more guards?" Wolf asked.

"Worse, Charlie's Sister," Stella said.

Wolf cracked her fists. "You three getaway, I'll hold her off,"

"you sure?" Elisabeth asked.

"Yep," Wolf answered.

the other three ran off as Lilith around the corner. Wolf stared down at Lilith, and Lilith pointed her dagger at Wolf. "Move, or I'll kill you," Lilith said. Wolf just stood there, and Lilith charged at him.

Wolf charged forward and punched, and Lilith caught the punch. Wolf looked shocked, as Lilith jabbed her dagger forward and Wolf caught her arm. Lilith kicked her in the chest, and the sparten went flying back.

Wolf stood and Lilith's dagger stabbed into her chest and Wolf fell back down.

Moon, Stella and Elisabeth were now on the 3rd floor of the dreadfort. As Lilith made herself known. "We can take her, right?" Stella asked.

Elisabeth held up both her daggers. "Probably not," she said.

Stella launched her arcane swords at Lilith, and she flashed out of sight reappearing next to Stella. "The powers of magic I have is unmatched, power from another world," She said. bringing her daggers around.

Stella teleported herself behind Lilith, but Lilith spun and waved her hands launching fire followed by lightning. Stella was unable to block and got slammed into a wall.

Elisabeth jumped forward taking Lilith by surprise, Lilith was knocked back, Elisabeth's dagger bearly missing her eyes. Lilith punched her in the gut stunning her for a moment.

Moon launched an arrow at Lilith and she held her right up, and the arrow froze in the arrow. Lilith point her hand towards the window and the arrow went flying into the window. Lilith jumped forward, Knocking Moon's bow away and grabbing her by the throat. and chucked her out the window.

Elisabeth was out that window in a moment. she grabbed Moon's hand, and used her hand on the window frame, although a problem she wasn't expecting or was too busy to care about her hand was cut apart by the hand as she held on. "Hold on Moon," Elisabeth said through the pain.

Lilith continued. Ember heard the water rushing up the dreadfort, and put a door between him from it. the water running pasted him harmless. He stuck his head out, about a foot of water was sitting in the hallway, but the water didn't fall into the newly opened doorway.

Ember stepped out as Lilith made her self known. Ember turned to face her. "Oh hello," Ember said.

Lilith sighed. "The fool, oh great," Lilith said.

Ember raised the sword. "You want at Charlie, you go through me!" Ember said.

Lilith smiled wickedly. "that wouldn't even be a challenge," Lilith answered.

Ember brought his netherite sword up. and Lilith dodged stabbing into his shoulder. "you play the fool, you like to make everyone think you're an idiot, but really you're smarter than that, you know what? I see why your Rain hates you, I hate you, and you know what," she grabbed him by the neck and slammed Ember into the wall. "Charlie probably hates you too," then she slammed him to the wall hard enough to knock him out.

Lilith pushed open the door to Charlie's room and his sleeping body. she smiled and walked towards him. she raised her dagger and Lucas launched from the shadows. slashed his sword across her hand and kicked her back. "You know not what trouble you are in!" Lucas said.

"It's not me in trouble!" Lilith swiped her legs and knocked Lucas to the ground, she grabbed his sword and pinned Lucas to the ground with his cloak. his hood falling down reliving the burns across his face from the fall of his kingdom. "Poor little defender of the truth, all alone in this world, your people have failed. I was there that day, watching from afar, it was fun watching your little soldiers fight. Now let's end your bloodline," Her dagger reappeared in her hand.

on the bed, Charlie's eyes suddenly opened.
