POV Sam

5 of us, lots of them, it was moments like this I would think of my older brother Bob, he and I were similar, both soldiers in frostbourne, both stopping at nothing to reach the next stage, then he dispaired, we were returning from the battle in the far plains, when he told to wait for him and that he had something to. he left with commander Hilda, that was the last I ever saw of him. I tried to ask the commander what happened but she never told me.

the 5 of us, all ex-soldiers were overlooking a castle. With me was my right-hand man, and best friend Ecplise. the others were Jane, Mark and Jackson. Ecplise was the best shot I know, so we gave him the only remaining pistol. the rest of us armed with swords.

now this castle we tracked Lilith was large, and as far as I could tell, had a lot of zombies and pillagers in it. "She's in there," I said. 

"So 5 of us vs an entire base fall of undead and illagers? I say our chances are good," Ecplise said loading his pistol. "Jane, Mark, go left, Jackson, Sam with me," 

we moved towards the castle, when we heard the screams, first Mark, then a few moments, Jane, before both of them went silent. "Huh thought they might have lasted longer," I said. Jackson tightened his grip more and more. 

we found a wall, and Jackson placed his blocks of TNT by the wall, and lit it, then tripped as he was coming back to us, was caught in the explosion, and died. "Well this mission is worthless, like come on, That's 3 of us dead already," Ecplise complained. 

"Incompataints," I said. "Now let's get Lilith," I said. 

Ecplise fired a round and took down a pillager, then I stabbed a zombie, the fort was fully of things to kill until we found the prison cells, Lilith was in the last one. "Get her out Sam, I'll hold off the undead," 

I began to lockpick the cell. "Sam? you came here for me?" She asked. 

"I wasn't going to leave you, with Tidal gone, I figured you didn't have anyone else left," I said. "Anyway thought I owed you after you save me from Frostbourne," I said. 

"Sam any time now," Ecplise called.

"I'm working on it," I called back. "And there," Lilith grabbed me, and then Ecplise as soon as the door was open and got us out of there in her red portal, bring us to the Controllers old base, in th hell spire. 

we breathed. "I'm going to lie down now," Ecplise said walking off. 

Lilith grabbed my hand. "Thank you, Sam, I...I thought I was going to die in there," Lilith said to me before hugging me. 

"What now?" I asked after the hug finished. 

Lilith summoned her blade. "We're going to finish Charlie off once and for all, And I am going to tell him something, something I should of a long time ago," She said. Lilith closed her eyes. "I can see him, he is with that machine, Meeps, in the open, near trees, prepare Sam Hunter we're going soon,"
