POV Crystal

I walked along the cells, only three of them had anyone in them, one Maya, another Elite and the third one Nina. I stopped at her cell. "Hello, Nina," I said looking at her.

"Crystal," Nina said not looking up at me. "Are you going to let me out?" Nina asked.

"Leave us," I ordered my guards, a pair of pillagers walked out from where the cells were, I had spent my fair share of time here, when I messed up after, there were two ways of punishment. first came every time I messed up.

I was beaten by the Entity if he was here at the time if not one of the other's, the pillager general a lot of the time. Gwendoly never. I held up a piece of paper. "I found this when I was in the nether, I can't read it," I said putting it through the bars.

Nina looked at it. then back at me. "Why?"

I shrugged. "Because Charlie said you were smart, you can figure out what it says and if you don't," I raised my sword. "I'm sure you can guess, I'll have the pillagers bring you books to help," I turned to leave.

when I fell to the floor, pain filled my body as the purple energy started to pulsate off me again. it was like my body was burning from the inside out with this energy and it hurt so so much. "Crystal what's happening to you?" Nina asked.

as quick as it started it faded, I was laying on the floor panting, as I caught my breath. "It doesn't matter," I mumbled. I slowly stood up. "Just do as I've said," I said walking to the exit.

"Crystal what was that voice talking to you?" Elite asked.

I turned to him. "What? you heard that voice too?" I quickly turned and headed for the door.

POV Rain

Razer and most of his lot were all taking, something to do with the voice Ciara heard talking to Crystal, so maybe she wasn't mad, maybe she only thinks she is? that makes no sense.

Stella was checking on Ceris, I would of gone myself, Ceris is nice to me, of course, she was, but I didn't want her bad-mouthing Charlie right now, I never really understood why she hated him so much.

I've also noticed Gwendoly doesn't seem a fan of him. Lance on the other hand seemed to like Charlie a lot, which was something at least, I know Charlie can struggle with people, A lot, so seeing him making friends was good.

It was why I'm happy about Ember and his friend, for the most part, Charlie got along with them, yeah I think Razer got annoyed at how full of himself Charlie could get but I know that wasn't his fault, his mind would slip why he was busy. I always thought it was because he didn't process emotions like me. almost like he doesn't know he's doing it.

Charlie also really got along with Meeps and Ember, in some ways Ember and Charlie were similar. not majorly so but there was something about the Ember that reminded me of Charlie.

I had thought about what it must be like for them, knowing two versions of us. that must get confusing in conversation. I walked over to the training hull and pulled out the ender great sword off my back.

"What to see..." I stopped, Charlie wasn't here, and neither was Stella, I lowered the sword and just jabbed it at the target. 'What's the point of having all these cool moves if I couldn't show them off,' I wondered to myself.

POV Abigail

I lay in the bed at frostbourne, I was still injured, and ai could feel it trying to get into my mind, the nether stars corrupting me, normally I could control it, thanks to a trick the master showed me.

with injuries from Crystal I couldn't focus on keeping it in check, there was only one other person alive in Frostbourne who could keep it in check, if what Ciara told me was true, I asked Azura who was checking in me to find.

there was a light knock at the door and Kyle walked in. he looked different to the last time I had seen him, something missing in his eyes, he also looked out of place in the red hoodie and black tracksuit trousers instead of his normal armour.

Kyle looked at me. "You asked to see me?"

I nodded. "I know you don't remember me Kyle, but I need your help with something," I held open my hand and the nether star appeared in it. "I need you to take this for me, I trust you to contain its power why I heal,"

Kyle looked at me, a look of horror on his. "No..No I can't do that...I..." he turned and ran out of the room.

I sat up unable to follow him. "Kyle wait!" I called.

POV Stella

Ceris was asleep still. Gwendoly was also asleep next to the bed in a chair protecting her sister. I never had the chance to have a sister, Gwendoly took it away from me when she killed my parents.

I hated her or it, in the coven I idolised her, she was my hero, but Lance told me what happened to my mum and dad, I never had the chance to have a family because of her, never got to know my mother or father's, love.

I left the room not wanting to hurt her in rage. It would be a lie to say I haven't found a family. Rain was my boyfriend, he would do anything for me, and Charlie was as close to me as Rain in a lot of ways.

I walked to check on Charlie and found Razer and other Kyle, there Lucas standing guard in the corner waiting for Lilith to attack. he nodded at me his hand leaving his sword. "What are you two doing?" I asked.

Razer put the dream stone down next to Charlie. "I plan," He answered.

Lucas snickered. "I don't put much faith in magic like yours, the defenders never really had a need for it, we base our power on technology it's what let's hold are ways for so long," Lucas said.

"Charlie thinks a perfect balance between Magic and Technology is the way forward, combine them to make something better," I said.

"Charlie has a lot of ideas," Razer replied.

"Yeah a lot of them don't really go into much," I answered.

suddenly the sounds of screaming seemed to echo around the dreadfort, something was happening.

POV 3rd person

the guards and troopers were all sitting about in the armour sharpening weapons when 100 or so other guards walked in and raised their assault rifles. no one had a moment to act as the guns opened fire. lead by Sam Hunter.

the guards in the dreadfort quickly found themselves under attack from others dressed as guards. but black lines crisscrossed their faces. Meeps and her brother soon found themselves out of the side of the dreadfort, they were looking at the wall of zombies just there outside frostbourne's walls. standing on the walls. they were the first to notice the massive wave of water moving towards them.

Shizuku had only just recovered from Lilith's last attack, not even getting a chance to ask someone what had happened before the alarms sounded. Azura and Lyria were close to her and just as confused. as Lilith appeared at the end of the hallway.
