POV Charlie
Shortly after take-off, I had hidden myself away in the lower deck where I could hide from both being miles in the sky and everyone else on deck, My fear of height is still strong, well I say fear of height it's more fear of gravity and the chances of falling...to my death, horrible and fast from the deck of a flying boat, that I find is a miracle it flys at all.
"Charlie?" Lyria asked walking down. "Why are you down here?" she asked.
I shrugged. "Not my element, the sky, I leave that to you,"
"Well, Dex is just relaxing and Shizuku is with her sister..." Lyria started.
"So you wanted to come and keep me company?" I asked.
Lyria came and sat next to me. "So you don't like heights?" she asked, I nodded. "I was once, when it was just Dexter and me when we were younger, living life on the streets, I would look up, at the airships, and I was terrified by the idea of standing up there, being that high up," she placed her hand over her chest. "but then Dex, she took me up, to the roof, gave me a pair of Eltray, and now...now my life is in the sky, it's where I belong, in the sky, it reminds me of my parents,"
I smiled. "Well Lyria, maybe I'll..." the ship shook violently, lurching to its left. "What was that?" but Lyria was already up and running onto the deck, I got up and followed. William was standing on the side of the deck, holding onto Hilda who had fallen.
Sheila had grabbed Dexter before she could fall off the side, and Alex had fallen hitting his head on the rail and passing out. "What happened?" I asked.
"Something hit the starboard engine," the Elytra corpe member said.
I looked out across to the engine. "Is that seaweed?" I asked.
Shizuku stuck her head out under mine. "Yeah, looks like it,"
The ship shook. "OH GODS WHAT'S THAT!" the corp member called as Hilda was pulled back up. almost like a group, we rushed over to the other side, A large, greyish-green rubbery-looking thing was wrapped around the engine.
"What is that?" William asked.
"Is that a tentacle?" Damian asked, We all turned to him. "What? it looks like it!" and then it ripped the engine off.
the ship went into spin quickly losing height as it fell to the floor, smashing into the water, serval people ran below deck to ascertain the damage.
"Our we under attack?" Sheila asked.
Before I could answer her, more of the tentacles rose around us some close to the ship, then from the water right in front of us, standing on the slightly larger tentacle was a woman in some kind of red armour, she was about half a foot shorter than Rain.
she held a lightly glowing Trident before pointing to at us on the deck. "YOU HAVE ENTERED THE WATERS OF PORT CITY!"
I looked at the others, who looked back. "Really?" I muttered to them, half of them nodding back. "Umm hi, I'm Charlie, and we didn't mean to violate anything, can I ask how much we did?"
"THE OCEN IS THE WATER OF PORT CITY!" she shouted.
"Sorry, can I have your name?" I asked,
"I AM SKYLOR! PROTECTOR OF PORT CITY, AND KRAKEN TAMER!"
I blinked. "Well, we'll just go back and..." I was cut short when a trident smashed into the wood in front of me.
"NONE OF YOU ARE LEAVING! YOU ARE NOW FORFEIT TO PORT CITY!" She held out her hand the trident returned to her. and held it up as water started to float out behind her.
