the cold crisp air was a nice way to wake up for Crystal, she had spent years of her life in an underground bunker, waking up to the same musty air, waking up here would never be dull to her.

the balcony that was a favourite of Charlie's had a great view of Frostbourne, the snowfall last night must have been strong, as people were digging out paths and doors, and some kids played in the snow.

"morning Crystal," Stella said walking out into the fresh air, a steaming mug of tea floating behind her.

Crystal jumped slightly turning to face her. "Stella, don't scare me like that,"

"Oh," Stella said, her smile dropping. "I didn't mean to,"

Crystal let out a sigh. "it's alright Stella," Crystal looked back out at the city.

"you've been having nightmares haven't you?" Stella asked.

"they never really ended," Crystal answered.

Stella joined her now holding her mug. "I know, ever since the entity, I've been having them too,"

"I'm sorry about that," Crystal answered. "I regret that, all of it,"

Stella took in a deep breath. "I don't blame you, you were as much a victim of the Entity as I was," Crystal still didn't turn to face her. "How are you feeling?" Stella asked staring at the damaged wall.

"annoyed at myself," Crystal answered. "I should have been able to beat that person," Crystal said.

"hey, hadn't you stopped her, she'd killed Lance," Stella said.

"I guess, heard of Ceris yet?" Crystal asked.

"no, but I'm sure she's fine," Stella said, she looked out at the groups in the city including the children in the snow. "Snowball fight! those are always fun,"

"I don't know, never had one," Crystal said.

Stella's jaw dropped. "okay, thats it!" Stella exclaimed. "you and I are gonna go down there and have a snowball fight! I AM GOING TO GIVE YOU A CHILDHOOD GODSDAMNIT!"

Crystal turned to her and blinked. "Umm...what?"

"YOU HEARD ME!" Stella said, taking Crystal's hand and teleporting them both, un fortunately Stella was still learning how her enderkin powers worked and the pair landed a few meters above the ground, next to Rain who was still drinking his coffee.

"Your almost there Honey," he said, helping her up.

Stella whispered something to Rain and Rain nodded, he put his mug down on a nearby table, and leaned down with Stella both of them making a snowball, Crystal looked on slightly confused before Stella spun around and threw a snowball at Crystal.

Crystal ducked just in time to avoid it, but the second one from Rain hit her in the face, Crystal whipped the snow away, it hadn't hurt her but slightly annoyed her. "it's on Dragon's face,"

"Dragon face?" Rain asked before a snowball hit him back, from there it went off, Stella and Rain vs Crystal, well that was until Razer turned up.

"you seem outnumbered?" he asked ducking next to Crystal behind a table.

"yeah but I got it in hand," Crystal said throwing the snowball.

Razer made a snowball and chucked it hitting Rain in the face. "it's like free therapy," he muttered.

the snowball fight stayed between these 4 for a little under an hour, until Patrick appeared walking out of the dreadfort, and a snowball from Crystal and Rain hit him, suddenly everyone went quiet looking at him.

"thats it!" Patrick said. "AZURA!" he yelled.

his wife appeared at the door. "What is it?" she asked.

"Make some snowballs!"

and with that almost everyone in dreadfort and the city as a whole joined in, the massive snowball fight brought a smile to many a person, one person not joining in was Meeps who was watching from the door to Dreadfort.

Meeps didn't want to run the risk of snow hitting her and melting, so she watched instead, Meeps was briefly distracted, not seeing the snowball heading straight towards Meeps's head, it didn't hit her.

A young woman had blocked. "Well that was close," she said.

Meeps stared for a moment. "you, you were in the past...but from the future,"

"Yep, thats me!" Alice said.

"You didn't come back in time to stop me from getting hit by a snowball?" Meeps asked.

"Oh Gods no! That would be a terrible use of time travel...not to be rude, But no I'm here with someone else, she's testing her power," Alice explained. "I just saw the snowball and thought 'Well can't let that ruin the fun' so I got in the way,"

"ummm Thanks then," Meeps said.

Alice looked out. "I shouldn't travel back, but I do like seeing everyone so young," Alice said her eyes moving over to Crystal and Razer, and she smiled.

"Alice!" someone called.

"One moment!" Alice called back.

"well before I head off, Thank you Meeps,"

"ummm why?" Meeps asked.

"well Mum and Dad probably wouldn't be alive thanks to you," Alice said still smiling.

"Alice! hurry we up!" The person called.

"right, goodbye Meeps," Alice said running off.

Crystal came running over. "who was that?" she asked.

"oh just some random person," Meeps said.

the snowball continued until the sun went down, and everyone ran out of energy, Patrick helped Rain back in, and Razer went off to Andrew, Crystal sat down on a hair-whipping sweat off her head, and Stella came back over with a coffee for her.

"Here you go," Stella said handing over before sitting next to Crystal.

"Thank you," Crystal said.

"no promble its only..." Stella stopped when she saw Crystal crying.

"no Stella, Thank you so much, you have given me something I didn't think I could have," Crystal said through tears.

"you desverse it," Stella said getting up and hugging Crystal.

"thank you for letting me have a childhood for a day," Crystal blurted out. "your the best friend I could ask for,"

Sheila walked into Lance's room, he was doing better sitting up on the bed, talking with Gwendolyn. "how is here?"

"I am fine," Lance said looking over to Sheila.

"Good, we were all worried," Sheila said.

Lance went to say something when the enderkin appeared, Gwendolyn jumped up but the enderkin hit something into her knocking her out. Sheila jumped up and brought her sword around knocking their blade out of the enderkin's hand.

the Enderkin kicked Sheila's leg but she jumped and smacked the enderkin, breaking off part of the black mask, Lance got a brief look at the face and gasped before the enderkin teleported away.

Sheila caught her breath. "you know that face?"

"All too well," Lance said. "you need to get the others...It's time I explained why I lost the war for the end,"
