POV Charlie

She was gone....how do we fix this? How do we help her? Razer was just standing there. I heard what Crystal said to him, hell half the overworld must have heard that. I was going to ask him if he was okay but I wasn't given a chance.

"Error....error....in...information....system...break...down...a...at...8....83%" Zen's voice called.

I pushed myself off Ember. "Zen? Oh no!" I called, rushing over to the controls. "They sacrificed what little power they had to try and save us," I explained.

I pressed at controls, "Auto repair is Prioritizing the reality gates over Zen's A.I program, come on, come on eject already," I said, from the console a grey and white chip about the size of my hand slowly rose. "Everything Zen is....or can be....is in here," I mumbled. "I just hope I can fix this before it's too late,"

I turned to the others. "Is everyone okay?" I asked.

Stella rubbed her injured arm, the look on her face answered the question. she looked on the edge of tears, and Rain decided to hug her. next my eyes turned to Razer, I want to talk to him, but...I know Razer isn't fond of me, I don't want to make him any worse than already is. I looked over at Azura who was assessing the damage to the computer.

Meeps just looked at me. sadness in her young eyes. I shouldn't have asked the question. the answer was clearly no. "Come on...let's get back to the ship," I said.

POV 3rd person

back on the ship, Charlie was standing about when he deiced he need to check on Razer, Charlie walked below to deck to find Meeps and Razer, feeling guilty over Crystal's actions, finding the two below the deck of the airship.

Meeps would look up and give Charlie a smile that wasn't genuine. "Hey Charlie," she said. "Do you need therapy as well?"

Charlie smiled back. "No Meeps not this time, I just wanted to check how you two are after..well" he trailed off.

Razer glared at him. "Why? Here to scold me for being a "terrible" brother?"

Meeps looked at Razer. "Raze," she said. "Calm down."

charlie looked confused. "What? No, I...I won't do that,"

Razer sighed. "Why is Crystal like this?" He asked. "She's just being selfish. Why does she have to be so selfish?"

Charlie put his hands in his pockets. "I think she's hurting still Razer, I'm sure she didn't mean it,"

Razer sobbing. "I lost them... I lost them that day... all I see is fire... I'm scared of Ember because of that and I hate Alex. But what can I do?"

He sighed. "I-I can't do this anymore."

"I...I'm sorry, I understand you're hurting Grief is hard...but please don't lose hope, It's all we have in the dark," Charlie replied

Razer shook his head. "No," he said. "I'm mean... I'm done. I'm done with saving Crystal. It's clear where her loyalties lie. I don't even want to be here, I just want to go home... but I don't have a home."

"Razer you can't just give up on her, she needs us now more than ever, I know if these roles were reversed she would stop at nothing to help you," Charlie took a deep breath. "And I want to go home too, but I can't, I never can, I lost that option a long time ago,"

Razer glared at him. "No, I'm not just giving up on her, I'm giving up on all of this. There's literally no point in fighting anymore."

He sighed. "Sorry I was being harsh. I... just need a break that's all."
