POV Azura
Patrick was standing at the helm with the navigator, Daryll was was neat the front of the ship cleaning his gun, Ceris was standing at the front of the ship watching was flow through the air.
I was in the state of mind thinking about my past, and how I first met Patrick, years ago, A lot of people as taken back by the 7 year age difference between us, but that didn't matter not for a long time, not until I was well over 20.
I didn't live in frostbourne when I was young, we didn't live in frostbourne, My parents past away before I was even a year old. Grandma never told me what happened to them, we lived in a small cottage by the side of a mountain.
One day when I was 10 I was outside the cottage staring up at the top of the mountain writing notes on a pad, the exact height of it. I was never a normal child, living most of my formative years in a small cottage filled with books would do that.
I was 10 and already working on a very basic version of my later wings, with the sole intention of finding a way to the top of the mountain. My grandma Charlene, the same one I named my daughter after. had come out to see.
"Hello little," She said, she wasn't tall, shorter than me once I was fully grown, she was already old at this point, her hair grey, face wrinkled, but a nice warming smile. "I'm going to frostbourne today, I'm having a meeting with Ser Theo would you like to come?"
she had gone to Frostbourne a few times before but had never invited me to go with her, "Oh Yes please, I would to see it," I said looking up at her.
Grandma smiled. "Good, you have ten minutes before the cart gets here to take us," She said.
I nodded and raced into the cottage, grabbing a leather bag Grandma had brought me last time she was in frostbourne. pushed my notebook in it, and my gold, what little of it I had. I met her outside as the cart pulled up.
to brown and white horses pulled, connected to a birch wooden cart, the driver was a young lady with blond hair, in a suit of armour belonging to the frostbourne. as we rode in the cart, I looked at the horses and my mind turned to the idea of a cart pulled by an engine instead of animals.
We arrived in frostbourne after a few hours. It was beautiful the most beautiful thing I had seen in my life, Grandma walked me through the streets. I looked in amazement at everything I see. I loved all of it.
we walked into the massive castle. within the entrance, we were greeted by a handful of guards and two people in different amour both of them holding their helmets. the younger one was Patrick and the older one was Ser Theo Patrick's mentor.
"Lady Charlene, welcome back to Frostbourne, who's this you have here?" Theo asked looking down at me.
"Ser Theo this is my granddaughter, Azura this is Ser Theo and his student Patrick," I looked between the two. Patrick seemed focused on something in his mind.
"Patrick, Why I and Charlene talk, show Azura around our city," Theo ordered.
Patrick nodded. "Yes, Ser Theo," he walked to the door. "Come on Azura I know exactly what you would like,"
within a few hours, we had gotten lunch and I had brought as much as I could to help with my experiments and was showing Patrick my plans for the first prototype of my wingsuit. "You came up with this?" he asked.
I nodded. "I have a lot of free time, and I mean a lot, I've lived next to a mountain most of my life, and I want to see the top of it, that's why I want to be able to see the top of it," I explained
Before Patrick could speak anymore, Grandma and Ser Theo found us. "Come Azura time to leave," Grandma said.
"Do we have to? Me and Patrick are getting along I'm telling him about my wingsuit," I answered.
