After Deaton fixed Scott up from the wolfsbane, Derek brought him and Harlow to the rail depot, as they try to come up with a new plan, since Allison told Argent and Gerard of their plans, ruining their chance to get Jackson and the one controlling him.

"No, I get it-- we can't save Jackson." Scott said, as the three walked into one of the trains, as Derek goes to sit on one of the seats while Harlow and Scott stood in front of him.

"We can't seem to kill him, either. I've seen a lot of things. I've never seen anything like this. Every new moon's just gonna make him stronger." Derek said, making Harlow look at him.

"If the new moon makes him stronger, then how in the hell are we supposed to stop Jackson, especially if we can't seem to find who is controlling him." Harlow said, making Derek look down in defeat, as he had no clue on what to do.

"I don't know. I don't even know if we can." Derek said, before Scott came up with an idea.

"Maybe we should just let the Argents handle it..." Scott said, before Derek shook his head.

"I'm the one who turned him. It's my fault." Derek said, making Harlow shake her head.

"You didn't know this would happen." Harlow said, making Scott nod at the girl, before looking at Derek.

"Yeah, you didn't turn him into this! I mean, this happened because of something in his past, right?" Scott said, making Derek scoff at the two.

"That's a legend in a book. It's not that simple." Derek said, making Scott look at the older male in confusion, like he was hiding something.

"What do you mean? What aren't you telling us?" Scott asked, making Derek give him a face expression full of disbelief.

"Why do you think I'm always keeping something from you two?" Derek asked, making Harlow a little frustrated as she crossed her arms over each other.

"Well maybe cause you always are. We're not stupid." Harlow said, making Derek look between the two.

"Well, maybe I do it to protect you." Derek said, making Scott look down.
