Katana's POV

"How is it still raining?" I ask as I stand back next to Christen after filling my water up. "It's been raining for like 36 hours."

"No clue." Christen says as the ten teams return to their podiums after our mini-break.

"We good on time?" I ask.

"We're great on Time." Cairo says.

"Sweet." I say. "Everyone ready?"

Everyone nods so I look at the media team.

"Ready when you are." The media team says so I look at the camera that's filming Christen and I.

"Welcome back to the Battle of the Brains." I say. "Our next category is TV's and Movies."

"We should do good in this." Mal says.

"If the questions are good." Lindsey mumbles.

"Everyone heard that dickhead." Aurora says causing Lindsey to blush in embarrassment.

"It's literally called Battle of the Brains." Sahara says as Christen turns off our mic's. "So use your fucking brain."

"Just relax." Christen whispers. "Stand up here and show her and Mal you're better than them."

"I don't know what I did to them." I whisper. "I barely speak to them."

"We can find out later." Christen whispers.

I nod then Christen turns our mic's back on.

"Question 1." I say. "What was the first American prime-time network TV drama since the 1970s to star a Black woman as the lead character?"

"OOH." Talia says. "I know this."

Christen and I chuckle at the forward's enthusiasm then I pull out my phone and google the menu of the dinner place we're about to eat at.

"Everyone ready?" I ask as I look up at the team then everyone nods. "Please reveal your answer."

"Scandal." Everyone says.

"Correct." I say as Christen notes down the points.

"Next question." My favorite Stanford forward says. "What princess was traditionally called Badr al-Budur before Disney renamed her?"

"Your options are..." I say.

"Oh thank fuck." Kristie says.

"Belle, Anna, Jasmine, or Ariel" I say then everyone notes down their answers. "What'd everybody go for?" 

"Jasmine." Everyone says.

"Points all around." Christen says as she notes down the points.

"So glad that was multiple choice." Casey says.

"Yeah that woulda been rude to just have you come up with the name." I say. "Now for Question 3."

"The "Eddie Murphy Rule" banned certain kinds of insider trading in commodities markets." Christen says. "It was inspired by Murphy's role in what film?"

"Oh I know this." Abby says then everyone writes down their answers.

"Answers pleases." I say then everyone shows their iPads.

"What was the answer Abby?" Christen asks.

"Trading Places." Abby Dahlkemper says.

"That is the correct answer." Christen says.

"Yes Abby." Sam cheers.

"How?" Crystal asks.

"I watched it while I was visiting my parents." Abby says.
