Katana's POV

"This is so cool." Mikaela says as we look around the Jaguar Racing Garage at the British Grand Prix.

Mikaela and I were invited to the Formula One British Grand Prix by Christen's sister Stella who owns and drives for her own race team, Jaguar Racing.

Mikaela and I both thought it'd be cool to watch an F1 race live so we accepted the invite and made this our third date.

Our second date was a paint and sip class that was very fun.

We already have our fourth date planned and it's a non-sport date that I'm really looking forward too.

"Very cool." I say as I see Kristie kiss her wife, Stella Maxwell.

I also see my favorite retired keeper and her wife walking over to me and Mikaela.

"Hi new teammate." I say as I hug Jessie causing the Canadian to chuckle.

"Hi Katana." Jessie says as Mikaela hugs Emma.

"Uh Jessie this is my future girlfriend Mikaela Shiffrin." I say as I motion to the blonde hugging Emma.

"Nice to meet you." Jessie says as she shakes Mikaela's hand.

"You as well." Mikaela says.

"Future girlfriend?" Emma says

"Mhmm." I say as I wrap an arm around Mikaela.

"Aww." Emma teases.

"You're lucky there is millions of dollars of equipment here or I would hold you down and tickle you." I say.

"You can do it later." Stella says. "I'll hold her down."

"Meanie." Emma mumbles.

Everyone chuckles then Jessie kisses her wife.

"Have you heard from Talia?" I ask.

"Yeah." Kristie says. "Leah wasn't feeling too well so they stayed in London."

"Oh." I say. "Well I hope she feels better."

"Oh wow." Emma says.

"What?" Jessie asks then Emma shows all of us an instagram post on her phone.

Sam Mewis and Lynn Williams got traded to Inter New York for basically fuck all.

"Wow." Kristie and I say.

"There's food right?" Emma asks.

Stella nods then she points Emma to the food.

"Be back in a second." Emma says then she and Jessie head over to the food area.

"Why'd Jessie leave her last team?" Mikaela asks.

"She asked to join Arsenal so she could be with Emma as much as she could if Emma came back." I say. "The Chelsea manager didn't like that which caused a big fallout between them so Jessie had her contract at Chelsea terminated and she joined Arsenal."

"Oh." Mikaela says

"Has Cairo had the talk with the team yet?" I ask.

"Which talk?"

"The talk where she tells people they actually have to play consistently well to be picked for the national team."

"Oh yeah." Emma says. "That talk happened at SheBelieves this year."

"Is the name of SheBelieves changing?" I ask. "It's kinda not inclusive."

I understand SheBelieves is a Woman's football tournament, but the name is not inclusive for transgender and non-binary people.
