A letter is never ill-timed; it never interrupts.
Instead it waits for us to find the opportune minute, the quiet moment to savor the message.
There is an element of timelessness about letter writing.

"Alright." I say as I adjust my phone. "Call if you need one of us."
"I will." Leah says as I walk back into the living room of my London home.
"Bye." I say.
"Bye." Leah says then we hang up as I get to the living room.
When I get to the living room, I'm greeted by the lovely sight of Nour sleeping on Christen and Maeve sleeping on Tobin
"So." I say getting everyone's attention. "When am I gonna be an aunt?"
"Soon." Christen says with a big smile making me smile then I sit down next to my Mom and look at the tv where Katana's game is being played.
My friends and family are still in London which is really nice.
"I hope Katana doesn't feel guilty about playing." Sahara says.
Katana and Arsenal are playing in the first leg of the Champions league Semi-Final and they're playing Chelsea.
"Well I told her to go play so hopefully not." I say as Katana is shown on the tv holding back Talia and Jessie.
"What happened?" Tobin asks as the coverage of whatever is going on cuts to the studio.
"Well as you can see a major incident just happened in the tunnel of Emirates Stadium." The host says then the coverage cuts back to what looks like a replay of what happened.
"Please don't be Sam Kerr starting shit." Sahara says then we see the Arsenal ladies swarm Sienna Wright.
Sienna Wright is, according to Katana, a new Australian Wonderkid that was signed by Chelsea in January
"The lady in the tan coat is our sideline correspondent tonight and from her microphone we can tell one of the Chelsea players directed an absolutely despicable word towards Katana Solo." The host lady says as I watch my wife pull her teammates back away from Sienna Wright then I notice all the Chelsea players staring daggers at Sienna Wright. "Laura what can you tell us?"
"Kate I...I...I honestly can't believe what just happened." Laura, the sideline lady in the tunnel, says. "The two teams were lining up to head out onto the pitch for what should be an amazing match."
Please don't be that word.
"When Katana Solo walked by, Sienna Wright said a racially charged word that starts with an N then she said some other stuff that really doesnt need to be repeated." Laura says.
"Oh Imma fuck her up." Aurora says as the Arsenal and Chelsea starting elevens walk onto the pitch.
As the pre-match stuff happens, the line-ups are shown and talked about.
