Katana's POV
"Katana is this an important trophy for Arsenal to win?" Some journalist asks from the large group of journalists in front of me.
We're in New York now and it's media day for the Challenge Cup.
I'm almost done with my media responsibilities.
All I have to do is answer a few more questions then film a song association video for Elle magazine's YouTube.
"You'd have to ask the rest of the team, but I don't think so." I say. "The most important thing is to get some minutes under our belts and build chemistry together."
"Katana would you ever play in the NWSL?"
"Not until the NWSL fixes it's shit." I say. "The NWSL only has three good owners, the leagues broadcasts sucks major dick if you're not Inter New York, Real Miami, or San Diego United."
Like Inter New York, Real Miami and San Diego United have their own broadcast crew that they use and stream to their YouTube channels that get more views than the CBS/Paramount plus platforms get.
"You also have clubs run by abusers and men that covered for abusers yet none of them have been forced to sell their teams." I say. "So until the NWSL fixes it's shit, I most likely will not be playing here."
"And that's all the time we have." The Arsenal Media liaison says then I stand up and un-mic myself.
Thank fuck.
After I'm un-mic'd, my dogs and I walk to the other end of the Inter New York indoor training facility where my next thing is.
As I'm walking, I look at a sheet of paper I was given before my press duties I just did.
