Katana's POV

"Have any of you heard from Lindsey?" I ask as we travel to Emirates Stadium for our final WSL game of the season. "Or heard how she's doing?"

"Yeah I talk to her yesterday and she said the surgery went well." Tobin says.

A couple weeks ago, in the second leg of the Champions League Semi-Finals, Lindsey suffered the most gruesome leg injury I've ever seen.

She went up for a header on her own then when she came down...well the best way I can put it is that her entire leg exploded.

She broke her tib-fib, tore her her ACL and MCL, and I think broke a bone in her foot.

Needless to say Lindsey's gone be out a while.

The only good thing to come out of that game is that we dominated Lyon and won 3-0 on aggregate so in a couple weeks we play Barca at the Camp Nou in the Champions League Final.

I can't fucking wait for that game.

"Good." I say.

I may not be friends with Lindsey, but I don't wanna see anyone injured like that.

Okay there are a few people I would love to see injured like that, but none of them play football so I probably won't see them injured like that ever.

"Hopefully she gets back to playing football." I say.

"I hope she gets back to walking." Talia says. "That injury was nasty."

"That it was." I say as I'm passed the final line-up of the WSL season.

After I look at the line-up, I pass it behind then I relax with my pups while thinking about what's at stake tonight.

We play Chelsea tonight and this game is an actual title decider.

We haven't lost or drawn a game all season while Chelsea has only lost to us.

We are on 69 points while Chelsea are on 66 points so all we have to do is draw today's game

Once at Emirates Stadium, the bus parks then everyone gets off and heads to the locker room.

When we get to the locker room, everyone puts their stuff down in their respective lockers.

Once my stuff is in my locker, my teammates and I head outside for the pitch inspection.

After we've inspected the pitch, my teammates and I head back to the locker room.

When I get to my locker I take my AirPods out, I take out my nose ring, I take off my necklaces, earrings, bracelet, watch, and my rings, put my jewelry in it's safe then I put my jewelry safe and AirPods in my bag.

Once I'm jewelry free I take off my tracksuit and put my dark brown locs up in a ponytail then I put on my short sleeve lime green undershirt, my warm up top, and I put on my game shorts.

I then sit down in my locker and put on my socks, my shin pads and my red boots.

After my boots are on I tape my wrists, hands, and fingers then I put on my red keeper gloves before I head onto the field with the other keepers.

When I get on the pitch I run through my warm ups with the keepers for a while then head back to the locker room.

Once in the locker room I change out of the training top and change into my lime green keeper jersey while Amaka does her last minute talks.
