Mikaela's POV
"Ooh she was good." I say as I clap while the second of Katana's openers bows then she walks off stage.
Myself, the US women's national team, Leah, Jessie, and the pups are at Katana's concert that she's putting on for Christen and Alex's farewell games.
Obviously Christen and Alex's friends and family are here as well.
The concert is at the Hollywood Bowl and it's sold out, but just like the last concert Katana didn't allow phones in so the national team has been relatively unbothered by the 17 thousand people here.
"Patrons of the Hollywood Bowl." Some deep voice says. "Please welcome to the Stage Katana Solo and Friends."
After Katana is announced, She, Sahara, Aurora, Talia, and Emma come out on stage causing me to look at what they're wearing.
Katana is wearing an all English red suit with a teal colored tie.
Sahara is wearing an all light blue suit with a dark purple colored tie.
Aurora is wearing an all coral colored suit with a French lilac colored tie.
Talia is wearing an all dark forest green suit with a royal purple colored tie.
Emma is wearing an all light pink suit with an olive colored tie.
I know the exact colors because myself, Leah, and Jessie helped everyone pick the suits and tie colors.
"Damn." Myself, Leah, Jessie, Tobin, Christen, and Sam say in unison as we look at our respective lady.
"Hi Friends." Katana says into her microphone as she and the other four ladies on the stage with her get set up.
Katana's singing lead vocals obviously, but she's playing guitar as well, Emma's playing guitar and singing backing vocals, Talia's playing bass and singing backing vocals, Aurora's on keys and singing backing vocals, and Sahara is playing drums and singing backing vocals.
"This place really is sold out" Katana says as she looks around the venue.
As Katana's looking around the venue, I see her eyes widen.
"Emma." Katana says into her mic.
This concerts for 18 and older so we don't have to be careful about little ears.
"Yeah?" Emma says.
"Jennifer Hudson's here." Katana says. "That's so cool."
"Dork." Emma says as she chuckles.
"You ready to sing Kit-Kat?" Aurora asks which snaps my wife out of her trance.
"Absolutely." Katana says then she introduces the other ladies on stage as she quickly plugs all her guitar in.
Once Katana's ready, she looks out at everyone.
"So there's gonna be about 21 songs tonight." Katana says.
"Yay." Someone on the national team says.
"The first 7 are normal songs that my friends and I will preform." Katana says. "Then the middle 7 are songs I wrote, but they'll be preformed with a little twist."
"Twist?" Christen asks.
"It's a good twist." I say then I sip on my virgin strawberry daiquiri.
"And the final 7 will be my favorite 7 songs from musicals." Katana says. "Alex and Christen have always liked when I sang musicals to them so we're gonna end the night with some musicals."
