Mikaela's POV
"Here we are." I say as myself and the ladies I'm eating lunch with arrive at our restaurant.
Once inside the restaurant, Cairo Jónsdóttir does the talking since she speaks German then we get seated.
"Switzerland is so pretty." Aurora says as we sit down.
The national team and I are now in Switzerland ahead of their friendly against Switzerland, but later tonight is Katana's halfpipe competition at the LAAX Open.
Surprisingly all of the national team are here to watch Katana.
"Very pretty." I say then I look at the menu.
A couple minutes later a couple waiters come over and take our drink and food orders.
"Do you know where Katana is right now?" Emma asks after our drinks arrive.
"Somewhere on the mountain." I say.
"She rides around the mountain with the pups until it's time for her to eat lunch." Sahara says.
"After she eats on the mountain, she hikes around until she finds a good spot to sit down then she fucks around on her guitar and portable amp for a while before she gets ready for her competition." Aurora says.
"What time does the competition start?" Sophia Smith asks.
"5:30." I say. "So we have a couple hours."
"Cool." Sophia says then everyone's phone's buzz a lot causing all of us to look at them.
"Oh thank fuck." Aurora says as we look at the post Katana just posted. "I didn't know how much longer I could keep that under wraps."
Katana just announced her secret project to the world which is her debut album called The 20/20 Experience.
Katana announced it to the world by posting her album cover.
The album cover is my girlfriend wearing a tuxedo, but most of her face is covered by a Phoropter.
A Phoropter is the measuring thing they use at the optometrist.
The only part of Katana's face that can be seen is her nose, her mouth, and her chin.
Also in one of the lenses you can see Katana's eye.
On the bottom of the album cover, Katana's initials are on either side of her, with the letter K on the left side of the cover and the letter S on the right side of the cover.
Under Katana's initials is the album name, The 20/20 Experience, and all the letters are in gold.
"That's such a dope album cover." Tobin says.
"When does it come out?" Sarah Gorden asks.
"January 19th." Sahara says.
"She's doing a concert too?" Andi asks as everyone reads the post.
On Sunday February 19, 2023 and Sunday February 26, 2023, Katana is having a concert for her new album.
The concert on February 19th is at Madison Square Garden in NYC.
The concert on February 26th is at The O2 Arena in London.
"No Cellphones allowed?" Alex Morgan reads of the post.
"Katana hates when concertgoers spend the majority of concerts recording on their phones so she isn't allowing them." Aurora says.
"But the concerts will be recorded and posted on Katana's YouTube channel so you can always go back and watch." Sahara says.
