Katana's POV
"I think this is it." Emma says as she, myself, and 8 of our friends walk into a local basketball gym facility here in Washington D.C.
It's October international camp time and we're in D.C.
Today's our off day Myself, Sahara, Aurora, Emma, Talia, Sam, Tobin, AD, and Crystal are playing in a local basketball tournament here in D.C.
A lot of the team were going to a protest here in D.C. but a massive storm is raging outside so the protest was postponed due to the fact that the family of the murdered black couple didn't want anybody being struck by lighting, swept away by flooding, or anything else.
I don't know what everyone else is doing except Skye, Mikaela, Christen, Alex, Megan, Nova, Abby, Kristie, and maybe a couple others are having a spa day.
"Yeah this is it." Talia says so we walk over to the check-in table.
Talia's doing okay considering what's happening to her daughter.

Our logo is a skull that's filled with cereal and we're wearing all red uniforms with green trim.
I don't know who created our logo or our team name, but I like both.

"How are we a 15 seed?" I ask.
"It's just a random draw." One of the organizers says.
"Oh." I say.
"How's the structure of the tournament work?" Aurora asks.
"Normal knockout style tournament." A lady says. "But if you lose at any time except for the final then you drop down to the losers bracket for a chance at the third place prize."
"Cool." Aurora says.
"Your teams area is marked over there." The lady says. "And we'll begin in around ten minutes."
"Thanks." My teammates and I say then we head to our area,
Once at our area, we put our bags down then we all get dressed.
