Katana's POV

"Before we leave can I ask you something?" I ask as I look at my wife.

"Of course." Mikaela says as she sits next to me.

"I know we're gonna eventually end up in America raising our family so do you want me to get a vasectomy considering all that's gone on?"

"Well I was actually hoping we could try and start our family after you win the World Cup." My wife says.

"Really?" I ask with a smile.

"Really Katana." My wife says with a smile.

"Fuck yes." I say.

"I know that look in your eye." My wife says. "We have somewhere to be otherwise I would let you ravish me."

"Raincheck?" I ask.

"It's a date." My wife says.

I smile at my wife as Mikaela puts on her Norway Solace jersey then I slip on my Mexico Solace jersey.

Once the World Cup teams we're announced last year, I got to work designing jerseys that I thought each team should wear.

I designed them when I was traveling to and from Mikaela's races.

The jerseys I designed incorporate a piece of history, a national symbol, or something every country is known for.

The green Mexico jersey I'm wearing has an aztec design incorporated on it while the red Norway jersey that Mikaela's wearing has a Fjord design incorporated on it.

Once all the world cup rosters we're announced, I sent every player and every staff member on every team their respective countries jersey.

I also sent them a random jersey so each person gets two.

For example, my Arsenal teammate Jackie Groenen got the Netherlands jersey and a Mexico jersey.

If they want more then they have to go buy the one's they want from the Solace website.

75 percent of the proceeds of each jersey will go to a charity benefiting the country of the jersey you bought.

Everyone seems to like all the jerseys which I'm very proud of.

Once my wife and I are dressed, the two of us and our doggies leave our room and head outside.

"Katana?" Mikaela asks as we leave Talia's home.

Myself, Mikaela, Emma, and Emma's kids are staying in Talia's home with her and her kids while here in New York.

The other people on the team are in Airbnb's in this neighborhood.

"Yeah Baby?" I say as I intertwine our hands.

"Can you explain the whole England Wembley situation?" Mikaela asks as we walk to the restaurant we're meeting everyone at.

"Yeah." I say then I explain everything.

In every International tournament that England has hosted, except women's euro's, they've played all their games at Wembley.

After the latest men's Euro's, a bunch of European federations complained that it wasn't fair that England played all their matches in one place while everyone else had to travel.

Once the 2023 World Cup groups and the venues for each match we're announced, everyone saw that the England Women were supposed to play all their matches in Wembley so almost all of the UEFA national team associations said they wouldn't back Englands bid for the 2030 Men's World Cup if the England teams we're allowed to play all their matches in Wembley for every home international tournament.
