Katana's POV

"Hey Mikaela?" I say as I walk into the living room of my girlfriend and I's home.

Mikaela and I are back in London now and we'll be here for a week to ten more days then we'll head back to America for national team camp.

The only bad thing about playing in Europe is having to fly across the ocean for national team camp.

"Yes Katana?" Mikaela asks as she looks up from her iPad.

"Before the team comes over for dinner and the draw." I say. "There's something I wanna show you."

"Okay." Mikaela says as I sit next to her.

"You know how Oksana wrote me letters?"

"Yeah?" Mikaela says

"Well I just found this." I say then I show my girlfriend the letter I found.

"Open with your girlfriend." Mikaela says as she reads the envelope. "Oh wow."

"Yeah." I say.

"How did Oksana have the time to write all this?" Mikaela asks.

"Well once we got back to Ukraine after the Olympics, myself and the men in Oksana's family worked around the clock to get ready for the impending invasion so I guess Oksana wrote all of them while trying to make sure Oleksandr didn't know what was going on."

"Oh" Mikaela says. "Should we read it?"

I nod so Mikaela opens the letter then we read it

Hey Kit Kat,

AND HI MIKAELA

"How'd she know?" Mikaela asks.

"I've learned it's best not to question Oksana's mystic ways." I say then we continue reading the letter.

Hey Kit Kat,

AND HI MIKAELA

If you two are reading this then that means you two are dating so first of all congratulations and I wish you many years of happiness.

Second of all, Kit-Kat, I want you to always remember that I love you and I will always be with you.

Now Mikaela, I need you to take good care of Katana and Oleksandr for me and I have included some other letters for you that I hope Katana grabbed.

Selfishly, I hope neither of you read this letter, but if you do then I hope you two have a wonderful, love filled life.

Give Oleksandr a hug for me

Love,

Oksana Solo

"I guess she didn't know Oleksandr was gonna be..."

"No." I mumble as Mikaela cuddles into me. "No she didn't."

"Stupid Russians." Mikaela says.

"You can say that again." I say then I kiss my girlfriend's head. "I left your letters on your bedside table."

"Thanks." Mikaela says. "Wanna go get ready?"

I nod then my girlfriend and I head to our room.

Once in our room, Mikaela and I change.
