Katana's POV
"There we go." I say as I put on a protective tattoo film over Mikaela's tattoo of my name under her right boob then I put another protective tattoo film over her olympic ring tattoo that's under her left boob.
I've already put protective film over my new tattoo under my right boob.
Once Mikaela's tattoo's are protected, I lean forward and rest my head on her stomach then I take a deep breath.
"I don't know why I'm worried." I say.
"Today's a big day for you Baby." Mikaela says as she plays with my locs. "You, Emma, and Talia are presenting your Foundation to the world."
Mikaela and I are in Miami now for SheBelieves and today's the teams off day in Miami so myself, Emma, and Talia are holding a sort of introductory/welcoming press conference for the Lion Foundation.
"I hope people like it." I say
"They will Katana." Mikaela says. "And your Foundation is going to do so much good for intersex people around the world."
I don't say anything which causes Mikaela to sigh then she pulls my head away from her and tilts my chin up so I'm looking at her.
"Katana Cleopatra Solo." Mikaela says. "You are a badass woman who, along with Talia and Emma, are about to bring a lot of needed help to a lot of people."
Passionate Mikaela is sexy.
"If anybody gives you grief for what your about to do then they are just cunts." Mikaela says.
"You're right." I say.
"I know I am." Mikaela says with a teasing smile then she pulls me up so I'm standing. "Now let's get dressed and head down stairs."
I nod then Mikaela and I get dressed for the press conference.
I'm wearing a purple polo with our foundation logo stitched over the heart, pair of skinny khakis that Mikaela bought for me, and a pair of tan Chelsea boots.
The Lion Foundation Logo is a purple and yellow lions head.
The colors of foundation are purple and yellow because those are the colors of the Intersex flag
"I love those pants." Mikaela says. "They make your ass pop."
I chuckle as my future spouse and I grab our things, grab the pups leashes, then we leave our room here in Emma and Jessie's Miami home
"We're ready." I say.
"Same." Emma and Jessie say as they come down stairs with their kids.
"Mikaela I'll send you the address of the place we're going." Jessie says.
Mikaela nods then all of us head out to our respective cars.
My girlfriend still drives us everywhere when we're in America.
I haven't driven on the right hand side of the road since 2020.
Oksana always drove when we lived in Ukraine.
"I should probably start re-learning how to drive on the right hand side of the road." I say as we get into our rental.
"But I love having you as my co-pilot." Mikaela says while pouting.
"I'll always be your co-pilot baby." I say then I kiss the pout away.
"I guess you can learn to drive." Mikaela playfully groans with a smile.
"Thank you." I say with a dopey smile then I kiss my girlfriend.
After I kiss Mikaela, she turns on the car then she drives us to the building that is now the Lion Foundation headquarters here in Miami.
Eventually we want to have an HQ in NYC, LA, Seattle, and wherever Mikaela and I settle down in Colorado.
"Hey Mikki?" I say as I play with my girlfriend's fingers.
"Yeah Baby?" My older girlfriend asks.
"You know how after the world cup, we're gonna vacation for a month or so?" I ask.
"Yeah?"
"What do you think about us shortening that to 2 to 3 weeks." I say. "Then maybe we can spend the last week looking for our home in Colorado.
"I'd love to Katana." Mikaela says with a smile. "I would love to do that."

"What are all of you doing here?" I ask as I see the entire US national team, the entire Canadian national team, and a few of the dutch ladies who've played with Emma, Talia, and I walking into the Lion Foundation HQ building here in Miami.
Our press conference is about to begin.
"Like we'd miss you three's big day." Ashley Lawrence says.
"We even have Leah with us." Jackie says then she shows us her phone.
"Hi Moonshine." Leah says as she looks at Talia.
"Hi Sunshine." Talia says with a smile.
"They're ready." Aurora says then all of us head outside the building to where the media are waiting.
We're doing our press conference first then we're having an open house in our HQ.
Once we're outside, my co-founders and I walk to where the microphones are while our friends and teammates who came to watch head over to their area next to the media.
"Hi everyone." Emma says as she stands in-between Talia and I.
Emma's very good at speaking off the cuff and she knows most of the media in Miami so she'll be taking the lead today during the press conference.
Once all the media people are ready, Emma begins our spiel about all we want to accomplish with our foundation.
The Lion Foundation is going to provide resources to intersex people, help intersex people find safe and reliable jobs, provide intersex people with therapy if they need it, housing if they need to get out of a bad situation, scholarships to college, and many other services for our fellow intersex people.
Our foundation is also going to provide resources and information to family members of intersex people.
"Katana why did you three start this Foundation?" A lady asks.
"Emma, Talia, and myself love our bodies, we love who we are, and nothing is ever going to change that." I say. "Sadly, that is not the case for many kids and people who were born intersex so we hope the Lion Foundation can provide resources, jobs, housing, scholarships, therapy, or any other service that an intersex person needs or any service or information that a family member of someone who was born intersex needs."
I should probably say the true reason we started this foundation
"But honestly we didn't want to see any more intersex people hurt or kill themselves because they don't feel like they're worth everything." I say. "Everyone is worth something and we want to make sure everyone knows how special they are."
After I finish speaking I see my girlfriend smiling at me which makes me feel good.
Over the next 30 minutes, we answer questions from the media then we all head inside for the open house and some food and drinks.
"You did so good." My girlfriend says from my lap as we eat food.
"Thank you." I mumble then I see all the national team ladies coming over to me.
Well this can't be good.
"What?" I ask as I see everyone's faces look very sad.
"There was another school shooting." Andi says.
"Where?" I ask.
"Elk Creek Elementary." Sahara says. "In Tacoma."
"Our old Elementary school?" I ask.
"Yeah." Aurora says causing me to sigh.
"When will this end?" I say. "When will this fucking end?"
