Demi

Odell Beckham Jr involved in CRASH

The 28 year old, Los Angeles Rams Wide Receiver, is reported to have been rushed to hospital in the early hours of this morning after being involved in a head-on collision.

Beckham's heavily pregnant wife and Heart Attack songstress, Demi Lovato, who released her new single over a week ago, was seen entering the hospital earlier today.

I couldn't sit still for too long due to the constant ache in my back so I was constantly fidgeting in my seat. I had to take a walk after a while and I headed to the cafeteria with Max. Just sitting and waiting for news on Odell was torture. Heather promised to contact me if she heard anything at all. I grabbed myself a bottle of water and we sat on a table in the far corner of the canteen, trying to keep away from everyone else but I could still feel the occasional eye on me.

"This is my fault."

"No, Demetria" I nodded as tears gathered in my eyes.

"I would have survived without peanut butter" I quickly wiped the tear from my cheek. "I can't survive without Odell" Max reached over and gave my hand a squeeze.

"You won't have too."

"No offence, but you don't know that" he flashed me a sympathetic smile. I glanced around, releasing a breath as I noticed a phone pointing in my direction. "Can we go?" he nodded, pushing himself up from his chair. I kept my head down as we took a gentle walk around the garden, there thankfully wasn't too many people around so I was able to get some fresh air without being disturbed. We headed back up to where Heather was once I felt ready too. We stepped into the waiting area just as a doctor walked out. Heather was stood by the chair she had been sat in all morning, her head was down. My heart began to pound against my chest as she glanced up at me. "Is he okay? Heather, is Odell okay?" tears instantly began to line my lower lid once again.

"He-He's out of surgery. He's in recovery" I sniffled as I held my breath, not wanting to miss anything she said. "It was successful. They're confident he's gonna be okay" I choked on a sob of relief as Heather wrapped her arms around me. My hand moved to my bump as baby boy moved. "They're gonna keep him-keep him sedated for-for a few days. Then they'll start weaning him off" I wiped my cheeks as I stepped away from her. "He's gonna be okay, Dem."

"I really hope so. I can't-can't do any of this without him" she lightly wiped the tears from my cheeks.

"You won't have too, Demi."

We sat around for a couple more hours until Odell was moved to ICU where we could visit him. It was surreal, to see him lying on a bed with a tube down his throat, attached to a machine that's helping him to breathe. He had a bandage wrapped around his head, cuts and bruises all over his body and his left ankle was in plaster. He's just recovered from his knee surgery, now he's got to recover from a broken ankle.

Scooter: Take as long as you need Demi. You've got to take care of your family first. Hope Odell recovers quickly.

I relaxed back against the chair and released a breath as I caressed my belly, Axel kicking against my bump. I was alone with Odell, the only sound in the room was from the many machines attached to his body. There's so much beeping.

"How I wish I hadn't wanted that peanut butter" I gently took a hold of Odell's hand and I began to play with his fingers. "You told me you were tired and I just-I shouldn't have let you go" Odell collided with a tree. They suspect that he may have fallen asleep at the wheel but until he wakes up, there's no confirming their suspicions. "I love you so much" I leant forward and I lightly caressed the side of his face.

I spent a few more hours with Odell until visiting hours were over. Heather dropped me off at my parents where I cried all over again. They had offered to watch Olive for me. She was on the backyard with Madison and Ryan, giggling up a storm as they pushed her on the swing that my parents installed for her. I watched her from the window in the kitchen until I managed to calm myself enough to head out to see her.

"Mama" she squealed, her excitement was contagious as a wide smile spread across my face.

"Hi Baby Girl" Madison lifted her from the swing and then lowered her to the floor. She ran at me, continuing to giggle as she crashed into my legs. I managed to lift her into my arms, the smile remained on my face as she cuddled into me. "Oh, Baby. I missed you too"she rest her head on my shoulder. "You give such good cuddles, Princess" she babbled as she played with my necklace.

"Mom said that O's gonna be okay" I nodded, glancing briefly to Madison as Ryan wrapped his arm around her.

"He-He should be. They haven't woke him yet, he-he's still sedated" she stepped up to me and then wrapped me in a hug. I held my breath for a moment as I felt tears forcing their way forward. "I just-I feel guilty" Madison shook her head as she pulled away from me.

"Don't. It wasn't your fault. He'll be okay, Dem" I nodded, glancing to Olive as she pressed her hand to my cheek. My lips twitched into a smile as her eyes observed my face.

"Owie?"

"Mama just missed you" her lips twitched into a smile. "Shall we head home and have some cuddles?"

"Daddy?" my smile faltered slightly.

"No, Baby. Daddy's at work" I pressed a soft kiss to her cheek as she looked down at her hands. I released a breath, my heart breaking in my chest at the disappointment on her little face.
