"Ian!" Napatayo ako bigla.

"Come with me, kukunin natin mga gamit mo sa bahay niyo." He grabbed my hand.

"No!" Pilit akong pumakawala sa kaniya at umatras.

"Edi ikikidnap kita kung ayaw mo."

"Tangina Ian!" Napasigaw na lang ako dahil sa irita at galit. "Nakakainis na!"

"Asawa ko, please..." He walked towards me and kneeled in front of me that made my heart even ache.

"Ian..." Tears started falling from my eyes again as I look at him begging.

"I know that I'm such a jerk. Sinaktan kita, sobra-sobra. But will you ever believe me if I'll tell you the reason behind all of it? Natatakot ako... natatakot ako na baka magtanim ka ng galit hindi lang sa akin kundi sa kanila dahil alam ko kung gaano mo sila kamahal. Ayaw kong magalit ka sa lahat kung sakali man."

"Huh? What do you mean? Ian, make things clear now, please. I think I've live a life full of lies, please sabihin mo na lahat. Ang sakit na eh... ang sakit sakit na. Sinong sila?"

"I just can't..."

"Fuck!" Napamura na lang ako at sinabunutan ang sarili ko. "Kung ayaw mong sabihin, edi h'wag! Parehas lang kayong lahat! Paulit-ulit niyo akong sinasaktan! Why just can't you make everything clear?!"

"Ela... asawa ko..."

"Stop Ian! You've broke everything especially my trust." Humagulgol na ako.

"Asawa ko..." He went near me and hugged me. "Sorry..."

I just cried. Ang sikip na ng dibdib ko. Hindi ko na kinakaya ang lahat. Hinagod ni Ian ang likod ko pero kumawala ako sa yakap niya at umatras.

"Ian stop it na." Pinulot ko ang annulment papers. "Sign this na... please."

"I won't. I'll make things clear first, ayaw kong may pagsisisihan sa huli. Please Ela... don't make decisions yet. Let me make things clear first, you know that everything happens for a reason right? I just hope you'll understand the reason why I became like that."

"But how will I understand if you're not even telling me if what it is?"

"Because you're not calm yet. Not now that we're both mad. We should talk about it if we're talking sincerely, not like this that everything is a mess. Just please... trust me on this. You'll know soon."

"Pinapahirapan niyo ako eh..." I sobbed.

"Sorry..."

"Paghirapan mo muna Ian kagaya ng ginawa mo sa akin noon at ginagawa mo rin ngayon. Prove yourself first."

Lumiwanag ang mukha niya.

"Talaga?"

I nodded. It's not that I'm already giving him a new chance, it's just that I want to make all things clearer now. I just feel that there is something wrong that we should make right.

"I will prove and make thing clearer to you, promise. But can I ask a favor."

"Just something legal."

He chuckled. "Yes it is. It's legal since you're my wife so we should live together again."

"Syempre paano ko masasabi sa'yo lahat kung malayo naman tayo sa isa't-isa 'di ba? Syempre dapat close tayo para mapag-usapan ang mga bagay bagay."

Napasapo ako sa noo ko. I guess I don't have a choice.

"Fine!" Nilagay ko ang annulment papers pabalik sa brown envelope.
