Manik's pov

I woke up feeling someone tugging at my t shirt, I tried ignoring it but I heard giggles. I sleep alone oh shiittt manik how can you forget you have a wife and a daughter now. I opened my eyes and saw arohi in a towel beside me, her little hands were tugging at my t shirt

She giggled as I look at her, she makes me so happy man I have never been this happy before, a little 8 month year old that I mean yesterday makes me happy I fucking love her man. Yes I do I mean how can you not love a baby

"Good morning bacha" I said kissing her forehead and she giggled throwing her hands and legs up at me, "hi baby" I said caressing her chubby cheeks and she giggled. I could be in the worst fucking mood, have the worst fucking day but as soon as her giggles make their way to my ears I will be happy I know I will be

"Chalo lets get you dressed" I heard nandini as she walked out in a somewhat wet t shirt with arohi's clothes

"Morning nandini" I said smiling and she looked guilty for some reason, "whats wrong" I asked and she shook her head

"I know there is something so tell me, this is how it works nandini, we talk and communicate through things" I said and she came to the bed sitting infront of arohi and I

"Im sorry that she woke you up" she said with her head down and I wonder if someone has given her crap for bringing arohi home

"Nnadini, she is my daughter and you don't need to be sorry about that, I promise Nandini I have accepted her as my own, she might not have either of our blood but she is our daughter" I said and her eyes watered a little

"Dont cry Nandini" I said getting up and arohi's giggles calmed down as she stared at us. "It'll be okay, I dont know who troubled you in the past but I genuinely accept the two of you I swear" I said and she wiped her tears

"Thank you manik" she said and I smiled, "kita thanks bolti ho yar tum" I said and arohi giggled, "see even arohi thinks so Haina baby" I said poking her cheeks and she giggled moving her arms around

"Hawww bacha apnai side badal di" she said wiping arohi's face and putting on some lotion. "Ill go shower then you go and we can take her to the doctor and get papers done" I said getting off the bed, "what papers" she asked

"Her birth certificate, other things, legally being ours and I need to grab something from the mall" I explained and she nodded but arohi made a sad face when I got up and walked towards the bathroom

"No aru, no crying subha subha" nandini kissed her cheek and tickled her tummy making her giggle. I quickly showered and when I came out I saw arohi making faces at nandini.

"Nandini go shower" I said and she got up picking up arohi who was wearing the cutest little blue dress

"You can put her on the bed, ill watch her dont worry" I said and she nodded but stopped for a second, "she will cry, she likes being held a lot" she said

"I dont know how to hold babies nandini" I said and she giggled making arohi giggle, "okay, so one hand under her bum and support her head with your other hand like me" she said and I looked at the way she was holding arohi

"Open your arms" she said and I hesitantly did, she gave arohi to me and it took me a second but I got it. "If she becomes heavy or starts crying you can put her on the bed ill be super quick" she said and I chuckled

"Relax nandini, I got it" I said and she went to the bathroom

I walked around the closet showing arohi my clothes, ya call me stupid but I wanted to show my baby everything. We got to the balcony and arohi threw her hands up, "ahh ahh" she pointed at the birds

"My baby likes birds, see pink bird" I said and she clapped her hands, "p p " she tried saying pink and I kissed her cheek making her giggle

Everything was going great until arohi started wailing in my arms, "no shh baby I'm sorry" I said not really sure why she is crying

"No aru, freak man, nandini" I yelled and she came out with wet hair and I looked at her helpless

"Aru baby, why are you crying" she took her from me and looked at me , "manik calm down and stop pacing around she is hungry" she said as I was pacing around the room literally biting my nails

Nandini picked up arohi and put a binkie in her mouth as she calmed down, "can I get some milk for her" she asked

"Its your house nandini, you dont need to ask, you can order" I said, "ma" I called from my room but nandini stopped me

"Point me in the direction of the kitchen and ill get it dont bother any" she said, "ill show you come with me" I said as we made out way down to the kitchen

"Shela aunty, yeh merri wife nandini hai our yeh meri beti arohi" I introduced her to our cook, "namaste aunty" she said folding her hands and aunty blessed us

"Aunty mujhai dudh chahiye tha" she said and aunty got her some milk, "manik ap thodhi der arohi ko pakad lengai please" she asked and I nodded

I took arohi outside where mom, cabir and navya were.
