Manik's pov

I pulled her in a hug, I wasn't sure who she was talking about, I thought its becasue I yelled at her to get the phone, wait who was on the phone. Right now my priority was nandini and arohi. I can't believe arohi started crying seeing her mom cry I mean having one baby crying freaks me out but when both my babies cry I cant deal with it.

"Shona no one will hurt arohi I promise, you trust me right" I said caressing her back and I felt arohi's face in my shoulder as she was moving around in Nandini's arms

"I trust you manik" she said and I kissed her ear and cheek pulling back, I felt her shiver as my lips touched her ear. "Now tell me what's wrong kya hua" I said and arohi moved her hands to me so I took her from nandini

"I dont know, it was alia I think im not sure but she she said should would end me and arohi, manik I I am okay with me getting hurt but you have to promise that arohi doesnt get a single scratch ever promise me manik" her eyes were begging me

"Nandini I promise you I will never let anything happen to you or arohi ever" I said and she nodded looking down. She was still shaken up, I mean of course, but thats it this was my last straw with alia. I took a deep breath and looked at arohi, she was very quiet

"Aru, tell mumma you are okay" I said tickling her stomach and she laughed that Brought a smile on nandini's face.

"Shona mai hu na kuch ni hoga and now stop being sad and cheer up" I said kissing her nose and arohi clapped her hands seeing me kissing her mom

"Sorry for waking you up" she whispered, "yes you should be sorry but for different reasons" I said and she looked me

"Nandini jaan thodhi toh sharam karo, tumnai arohi kai samnai mujhai kiss kia woh kya sochegi huh" I teased remembering her kissing my cheek before she gt up from the bed this morning, I dont know if it was true of not but I felt her lips on my cheeks after arohi's sloppy kiss on my head

She became a tomato when I said that and arohi poked her cheek making me laugh. "Hmm jaan kya hua bolo na, haina aru, ji batao mumma kya hua" I said and she looked down biting her lip

"Haha, relax baby, im just messing with you, I love when you kiss me after you wake up", "you knew this whole time" she managed to whisper and I smiled, "I felt you doing that everyday and let me tell you I love it, dont think otherwise" I kissed her head

"Nandini now stop flirting with your husband and go shower you have eggs all over your suit" I said looking at her chest and then I realized what I said and she looked down at her chest and looked at arohi who giggled

"You did not" she said and arohi jumped up from my lap to my shoulder getting a hold of my t shirt. She laughed and giggled in my shoulder as I moved away form nandini

"Arohi yeh kya hai" she said and I laughed, "did she do it" I asked and nandini glared at me, "I was feeding her and didnt realize she had eggs in her hands, baby you smashed all the eggs on me thats not good" she scolded arohi who didnt really care

"Nandini go shower" I said and she frowned, "ya be on her side I will talk to bhai about this, you two are always being mean to me" she said and I laughed watching her head to the bathroom

I sat with arohi In my lap, "aru mumma is gussa, kya karai" I asked and she looked at me with her big doe eyes, "kya karai Batao na" I asked again and she jumped up and down in my lap laughing

"So here is the plan, we take mumma outside for a picnic and then we get her ice cream, does that sound like a plan jaan, huh does it" I said and arohi laughed jumping and I kissed her cheek.

We played for a bit, well arohi played with my arm she was yanking and moving my fingers while I messaged alia because the stunt she pulled today was fucked up. So I asked her to come see tom in the office.

I saw nadnini coming out of the bathroom in a black and pink suit and lets just say my heart skipped a beat, she always looks beautiful but she rarely wears sleeveless suits. I couldn't stop looking at her and she noticed that becasue her cheeks tinted red. Red is my favourite colour and it looks so much better on her especially when im the reason behind it

"Nandini" I said walking up to her and she turned to me as arohi jumped on her from my arms. "Hi pretty baby" she said kissing arohi's lips and gosh I really wanted to kiss nandini, she looked really gorgeous today.

"You look beautiful jaan" I said kissing her forehead and arohi looked at me like she was gonna kill me "a ah na" whatever that means in her language as she moved her my face from nandini's head

"Aww dont get jealous gorgeous, I still love you more" I said and nandinid's eyes widened at that, "what dont make them big, arohi I think your mumma na needs some help, she keeps scaring me yes I know you get scared too" I tickled her and she laughed

"Dont tease me, go shower" she said and I shook my head grabbing arohi but she wouldn't let go of nandini's dupata. I swear she is obsessed with her dupata, she not only has to sleep with it but she cant eat without nanidni's dupata either

"Fine ill go shower, but then we are heading out" I said and nandini grabbed my arm, "where", "picnic for you so you can relax a bit" I said kissing her head and walking to the bathroom.

When I walked out of the bathroom I saw nandini standing on the edge of the bed and she swayed a little confusing me. I wondered if she was playing with arohi so I walked to her and she swayed more holding the blanket.

Arohi was in her crib playing with her toys so I looked back at nandini and she tripped but I caught her, "careful nandini" I said and she gave me a weak smile

"We are going to the doctor, you dont look fine to me" I said grabbing my wallet and keys, "no im okay" she whispered

"Nandini do not argue with me" I said picking up arohi, "manik no im okay" she said and I shook my head grabbing her arm

"Dont make me carry you nandini becasue I will do it without blinking" I said looking at her and her face was pale, paler than last night.

She slowly walked with me downstairs, "ohh date pai ja rahai ho" cabir teased and I just wasn't in the mood, "cabir dont" I said and I guess my tone was clearly dangerous

"Is everything okay" he asked, "yeh Sunti hi ni hai, do din ho Gaye she looks so pale but dyan rakhti ni hai kuch bolo tom sunti ni, arohi sai zada tang karti hai yeh mujhai" I said and cabir glared at me

"Yell at my sister and I will punch you" he said and I rolled my eyes at him, "shut up" I said, "call me if you need anything and you missy, this is not right tu bimar padh jayegi toh in dono ko kon sambhalega" cabir said

"Sorry bhai, par mai thik hu" she whispered, "jhut mat Bol, awaz sai pata chal raha hai, manik tu ja issai lekai. Should I keep arohi" he asked and I shook my head, "no, we will take her" I said and I walked out with nandini and arohi

We were driving to the doctor and nandini was trying her best to smile and laugh with arohi but it wasn't working today, I placed my hand on nandini's thigh making her look at me while arohi was playing with my hand now
