Nandini's pov

How do I tell him, they will rip me away from him, from arohi. I dont know how he got this feeling becasue its right something is gonna happen but I have to talk to him and let him know when we are in private. I kiss arohi's head and look at Manik who looked stressed.

"Mani can we talk please" I asked and he nodded, so I put pillows around arohi and we sat in the balcony with the door open just in case she wakes up

"Before I tell you this I need you to promise you'll always keep arohi safe and take care of yourself" I said and his eyes shot up at me,

"DON'T YOU DARE FUCKING TELL ME YOU ARE LEAVING ME NANDINI" he screamed at me and I knew he would react like this

"Manik stop yelling and listen", 'NO FUCKING WAY NANDINI, DO NOT TELL ME YOU ARE LEAVING ME, HOW THE FUCK ARE SO CALM"  he yelled even more

"Im not leaving you mani, will you calm down" I said caressing his arm, "you are fucking lying I know you are" he whispered as tears fell from his eyes

"Shh, Manik I'm not lying just ek bar sun lo please" I said and he looked at me making me sigh. I moved his arms and sat on his lap with my hand in his hair because that calms him down the most

"When I found arohi I brought her home, but umm", "cut the bullshit Nandini" he said

"Long story short harshad hated arohi and said he would take her away from me, that's when ma reached out and I married you, it was the primary reason I said yes to marrying you" I said and he looked at me

"The fuck do you mean by that, who is harshad" he looked pissed, "umm my cousin well somewhat cousin" I said not wanting to say anything else, "your cousin what, out with the rest of the shit" he said and I sighed

"He lived with me after dad passed away, I had no one else so he was that pillar for me but umm he would umm inappropriately touch me and things. I thought it was only cause he was drunk cause he only did it when he was drunk. He wasn't my actual cousin but I always called him bhayia until he asked me to stop and call him by his name. He owned the house we lived in I am no sure how but he said he did, once I asked to look at the papers and umm ya" I took a second to recollect myself

"Papers and what" he said and I closed my eyes,

"he hit me, he almost raped me umm but I ran as fast as I could, since he was dunk he wasn't able to keep up with me. Umm I stayed outside my house for a while, when I went back in he behaved like nothing happened. I don't have nay family so I chose to stay there. Once I found arohi I was very protective of her so if he was drunk I would keep arohi in my closet of course with room and cracked doors. He used to say he will kill me if I ever stopped him from touching arohi but I swear I never let his hands touch her not even once. Then one day I" my voice cracked

"Then what jaan, tell me" his voice softened, "he said he would sell arohi becasue I was not giving him enough time, he meant not letting him touch me when he was drunk becasue I would hide with arohi when he was drunk umm the next day I left the house, I wasn't sure where I was going especially with arohi being so little, but I ran into ma in the orphanage and the rest is history" I said and he wiped my cheeks

"I need his name Nandini, you'll have him in your feet in a few days" his voice was so flat yet scary, "no no please, I I saw him this morning when we were coming to you and I dont want him to hurt arohi or you please Manik" I said and he pulled me by my head

His hands wrapped around me pulling me in a hug, "shh dont panic okay, i told you jaan I would let anyone hurt you or arohi so breath for me baby, breath and about this cousin ill deal with it okay, he won't even come close to you or arohi" he said kissing my head

"Manik let me go please, if I go then he wont even try coming for arohi" I whispered and was pulled away roughly

"IF YOU EVER SAY THAT AGAIN I SWEAR NANDINI I AM NOT TALKING TO YOU, I SAID I WILL HANDLE IT MEANS I WILL HANDLE IT DO YOU UNDERSTAND THAT" he sounded pissed and I nodded

I know I shouldn't think like this but what if he finds us again, he is psychotic. I wiped my tears and I knew what I had to do, I had to because if he found me, he would harm arohi and I sent want that.

I got off Manik's lap and went to arohi, I layed down with her for a little bit while manik went somewhere I honestly wasn't thinking straight so I didn't care where he was going. I grabbed a picture of arohi and manik, along with some clothes. I kissed arohi's head "I love you baby, take care of yourself and papa" and sneaked out of the mansion

I had to go far away so he wouldn't get to arohi, I walked outside but within minutes of walking on the sidewalk an arm pulled me making me bang again his chest

"ARE YOU FUCKING STUPID NANDINI, ARE YOU AN IDIOT, WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU. I TOLD YOU I WILL DEAL WITH IT, FUCK I AM DEALING WITH IT BUT YOU ARE RUNNING AWAY, AWAY FROM OUR DAUGHTER, AWAY FROM ME FOR A FUCKING IMBICILE. DO YOU LOVE HIM OR SOMETHING BECAUSE I SAID I WOULD HANDLE IT. WHY DONT YOU FUCKING GET THAT NANDINI" he screamed in my face dragging me back home

he threw me on couch and bhai and bhabhi came out hearing Manik's scream, "what the fuck Manik" bhai pushed him

"CABIR DONT FUCKING SPEAK RIGHT NOW, AND YOU WHAT THE FUCK IS WITH YOU NANDINI HOW COULD YOU EVEN PULL A FUCKING STUNT LIKE THIS" he screamed

"Manik please arohi will wake up" I said in between my cries, "WELL YOU CLEARLY DONT GIVE A SHIT ABOUT HER OR ME SO LET HER WAKE UP AND FIND OUT HER MOTHER WAS FUCKING RUNNING AWAY FROM HER" he screamed louder kicking the table

"Running away" bhai questioned, "bhai I" I was inturpted, "NOT A SINGLE WORD FROM YOU EITHER, YOU WANNA RUN AWAY GO FUCK OFF FOR ALL I CARE" he screamed and left, bhai followed him out and bhabhi sat down with me

"Nandini this isn't right", "I know bhabhi but its for them, I love them more than anything so yes I am willing to let go to protect them" I whispered and she hugged me
