What is grief?
Is there a right way
A length of time
Proper way to do it
How do humans truly grieve?A life lost
Of a family member
A close friend
A pet
Gone; just like thatSnatched away
Cruelly sometimes
Horribly, without mercy
Or quietly surrounded by familyDoes that make grief different?
Or the same?
How does one find the right words?
Or thoughts or emotions
Do they flow with the wind
In & out of the meridians
Of one's bodyCan grief be analyzed?
With data, charts, numbers
So it can be processed that way?
But humans aren't robots
So....Where does that leave us?
Father Time waits for no one
In our minds, we're on our own
But our souls are universally
Surrounded by love.
