Build the Wall

We need it, badly
We're a country under siege
Because the only way to come
To this or any country
Is legally

Build the wall

Sure it takes time
Effort, patience, even money
But the reward at the end
Is a lot more worthwhile
Then crawling across the desert
Attached to a mule

What about human trafficking?
Drugs?
We must shut these networks down!
We do not have the manpower to
Babysit every inch of the country line

Israel has a wall
Turkey has a wall
One middle eastern country
Has recently started its own wall
To separate itself from Iran
There must be safety measures in place

Those against the wall
Do you want the illegals in your home?
Your town?
How much of your hard earned tax dollars
Are going to fund sanctuary cities?
Instead of fixing roads you drive over
Schools for supplies where your kids go
Bringing jobs to your state

There shouldn't be a question of safety
Of securing our border and country
Because we not only secure ourselves
But our Canadian neighbor up north
Because in order to get there
They have to go through the US first

As a legal immigrant
And US citizen, I repeat
There's only way in
If it's to be done legally elsewhere
Than here is no exception

Try going to another country
Without papers
See what happens to you
Simple as that

Mr. President
Build that wall!
