Onto themselves

Which stand out in people's minds

A tax exempt cult
That forces its members
To pay for things
That are never used

All the while
Being promised salvation
For clearing the planet
And threatened of separation
From loved ones

Originally created by a dreadful
Science fiction author
Who hated psychiatry
People are brainwashed into
Believing his works of untruth
Like a bible

In recent weeks and months
Both Leah and certain articles
And testimony revealed 2 more
Such cults operating in America

One was surprising
As many just thought they were
Overly annoying door to door salesmen
Wanting to convert people

But it turns out the
Jehovah's Witnesses
Are on the same uneven keel
As Scientologists

There's also brainwashing
Families are separated if someone leaves
And the promise is that upon dying
These people live in the clouds as G-ds
While the rest burn on earth

You can't make this shit up

The most dangerous out of the three
Is the Nation of Islam
Not to be confused with
The actual religion of Islam

These people started their religion
Purely, out of an idea to unify a community
In peace and hope
The likes of Malcolm X
And Mohammed Ali
Are the testaments of truth

Somewhere in the last two decades
This changed
A new leader took over
And his thoughts and opinions
Permeated the movement
With hate

His anti-Jewish, anti-Israel
Holocaust denying, anti-white people
Rhetoric turned the group from
A peaceful community into a cult

Than.....
He joined forces with Scientology
And finally some people began waking up
Then walking away

Some people say that all religions are cults
Though all have flaws
There's a fundamental difference

What makes something a cult?

Abuse, neglect, segregation of parishioners
Or those they deem unworthy
Giving money one doesn't have
Separation from families
Violence both in and out
Hate
The leader or leaders calling themselves
G-d, the Messiah, or something
Equally impossible

Examples of past cults that exhibited
Some or all of the above
Jonestown
The Manson Family
The Branch Davidians
Heaven's Gate

There are hundreds more
But that's how one knows what
Is real and what to be mindful of
The world needs to be aware of such
Places of hate, abuse, and fraud
Spread the word and keep the peace
