Help Send Hope

How much is hope worth to you?
Is there a money value on it?
Or is it as priceless as love and peace?
What can we do to help those in need?

In fact, one solitary person among 8 billion
Can make a difference
Doesn't have to be a Mother Theresa
Or a Gandhi
All one has to do is care

There is a place in China
Called Wuhan
Which many know of now
The devastation wreaked by a virus
Has killed many

But what can ordinary people like you
Like me do when we don't have funds to give
Well, that's actually easy, we can
Help send hope
How?
Through regular cards in the mail

From every country
To the patients, the medical personnel
On the front lines, giving them a morale boost
This has nothing to do with politics
This has everything to do
With humanity

People often forget something truly essential
Forget differences like gender, religion, color
One world, earth
One people, human beings
Under one sky

Therefore, putting souls into creation
Of small things and cards are tangible things
People can hold, knowing someone
On the other side of this vast yet small globe
Cared enough to reach out

This is my creation
Operation help send hope to China
But I want you, the human race to contribute
Cards have been sent already but
I'm not stopping

Keep spreading the word
Keep sharing my video
This poem
Because after all, hope is the
Good kind of contagion
Because it powers the purity of ones soul
