Part 10 - SATURDAY NIGHTS ALRIGHT (FOR FIGHTING?)

The next morning you were awaken by the small beam of sun light coming through the window in Eddie's room. As you slowly came to you noticed you couldn't move, you looked down and saw Eddie's tattooed arm around your waist holding you as close to him as possible. This man was never going to let go of you, even in his sleep.

You decided not to get up and instead enjoy this moment of peace with Eddie. You laid back down only this time pushing your hind against his hot bod. "Mmm" he groaned into your ear. This sent a shiver down your spine as he pulled you in even closer, his hand slid up and cupped your breast, his mouth now directly behind your ear. Every breath he took into your ear made your core drip with desire. The two of you fell back asleep for a few more hours.

"Shit. Eddie, what time is it?" You groaned as you stretched your arms out. "It's after 3pm" he said in a groggy voice. You looked over at Eddie who was sitting up in bed, shirtless, staring at you with his sleepy eyes and massive bed head. He's so beautiful. "Like what you see?" He chuckled as he leaned in to give you a kiss.
"I meant what I said last night Y/N, I like really love you"
"So do I Eddie" you blushed.
"I have a plan for today, let's get dressed" he said as he jumped up from his bed.

——————-Time skip about an hour—————-

Eddie put his van in park "we're here!"
You looked up at the sign that read "ARCADE"
You hopped out of the van and followed Eddie inside.

"HENDERSON!" He called out
"Hey man!" Dustin yelled as he waved you two over. Dustin was a cute and charming kid, to his side he was joined by his friend who he introduced as Mike. Mike was a tall kid and he seemed quite shy and awkward, kind of the same awkward and shy vibes as you.

"How much longer are you guys staying?" Eddie asked.
"We're just on our last game right now, so we were probably going to leave soon, but now that you're here we'll probably stay a bit longer!" Dustin said with excitement.

You looked over behind Mike and there was Steve at one of the games. "Hey Y/N" he said as he gave Eddie the side eye. "Hey Steve" you replied.
"Sweet! I'll be right back Y/N, I'm gunna go get us some tokens" Eddie said to Dustin before turning around and disappearing further into the arcade.

"FUCK" Steve yelled at the game he was playing. He hung his head down with his arms on either side of the machine as he processed just loosing the game he had been playing for the last 20 minutes. He took a deep breath and turned to you
"So, how are you liking Hawkins so far?" He asked as he inched closer to you.
"It's nice, I like it" you said and you anxiously waited for Eddie to come back.
"I'm sorry if I'm being blunt but.. Why are you with that freak?" He said
"Excuse me?" You were almost too stunned to speak.
"Eddie, why are you with him? There's like so many other guys at the school, why him?" Steve said in an annoyed tone of voice.
"Well I don't think that's anyones business but my own Steve, besides aren't you dating Robin or something? You two seem to be stuck to each other's hips"
He laughed "Robin?! No no, we're platonic friends with a capital P"
You stared at Steve for a few moments before Eddie returned. Thank god. You gave Steve a final look before hooking your arm to Eddie's. Steve shot Eddie a wicked stink eye but before Eddie could notice Steve had already left to a different game with Dustin and Mike.

"Hey, you okay?" Eddie seemed worried as he noticed something was clearly bothering you. You weren't the greatest at hiding your emotions.
"Yea, I just have a hard time being in crowds of people sometimes, that's all" you said partly lying.
"Oh my god. This was a bad idea I totally should have asked, we can go. Do you wanna go?" He seemed more concerned than ever.
"No Eddie, it's okay, I'll be okay. I have you" you reassured him.

You didn't know this yet but Eddie really liked having his ego stroked, it made him feel like a king. He was also a very jealous person. Once he felt threatened, that was it. Everyone saw him as a mean and scary guy but in reality he would do anything to protect the one he loves, which happened to be you. The moment he knew you were his, it wasn't going to be easy for him to let you go.

"Hey Y/N let's play this one!" Eddie said with excitement. It was the Pac-Man game, you loved this one. "Get ready to lose, Eddie Munson" you chuckled. "Oh not if I can help it" he said with a toothy grin. You started playing. Eddie started winning but suddenly you turned the game around and started winning. He looked completely shocked, a cute girl was beating him at an arcade game, who would have thought. "HA!" You yelled as the game ended announcing you the winner.
"Shit Y/N, what else do you have hiding up those sleeves of yours?" He joked.
"You'll have to wait and see" you said in a smug voice. "Come on Eddie, I'm hungry"
"Hey guys!" He called over to Dustin, Mike, and Steve who were an aisle of arcade games over. "Do you wanna grab a bite to eat with Y/N and I?" He asked. "Sure!" Dustin and Mike replied, Steve looked annoyed in the background but he followed anyways.

Once you all grabbed your food you all sat at a table together. it was a little awkward at first so you decided to break the ice. "So Nancy is your sister Mike, right?" You asked. "Uh- yea she is" he replied. "Well she's very nice, I like her" you said. Mike smiled at you with kindness in his eyes. "So Y/N, where are you from originally?" Dustin asked. "Well my mom and I moved here from Canada. Her job causes us to move around a lot, which sucks because once I make friends I end up having to leave them" you explained. You noticed Steve looking at you with a longing stare. Eddie noticed this time.
"Oh, that sucks Y/N I'm sorry" Dustin said
"It's okay. It's interesting to see all of the different kinds of people in every city/ town we move to" you replied trying to keep the conversation light hearted. Eddie set his hand down under the table reaching for your lap, he placed his warm hand down mid thigh and started moving his hand slowly up towards your core. You grabbed his hand as if to say 'not now Eddie' he chuckled as he kept his hand there.
"So Y/N, any boys or girls at our school that caught your eye yet?" Steve asked practically mocking Eddie as he knew exactly what was going on between you two.
You sat in silence for a moment while the guys all looked at you awaiting your answer.
"Well Steve, if you must know...Eddie and I have been spending time together and we've been enjoying ourselves. I like him" you looked at Eddie with a smile. Steve scoffed.
"Problem Stevie?" Eddie asked as his head snapped towards him. His blood was now boiling.
"Nope, all good man" he said with a straight and angry face.
You could see the situation getting tense, you looked to Dustin who was clearly loving the action but immediately took your hint as your eyes widened.
"Hey Steve, should we go get Max and Robin?" He asked in hopes Steve and Eddie would snap out of their staring contest.
"Yea. Let's get out of here" Steve gritted his teeth.
Dustin and Mike both flashed you smiles as they left.

"What a dick" Eddie said. He was clearly in defence mode now but you were kind of loving it, it was really hot seeing him like this.
"I've always kind of hated that guy you know, Mr. Popular with the cool hair". Was Eddie jealous? Did Steve secretly like you? So many questions were floating around in your head-
"Do you wanna leave?" He asked in a concerned voice. You nodded. The two of you got up from your table and threw out your trash.

Once outside you started walking to Eddie's van. You noticed Steve, Dustin, and Mike were all still talking  in the parking lot. What were they still doing here you thought.
"I thought they were going to get their girl friends" Eddie said as he continued walking. Steve could not take his eyes off of you as he watched from his car. Eddie noticed this time. Fuck.
He pulled away from you and made a b-line to Steve's car "Hey, do we have a fucking problem Stevie?" Eddie asked as he walked up to the drivers side.
Steve ignored Eddie and looked at you with a deep stare and said "No man. I'm good. We're good". Steve then put his car into gear and took off.
"Fuck that guy" Eddie said as he returned to you
"Um Eddie" you asked.
"Yea?" He looked at you
"Would you mind if we stopped at my place? I really love being at your house, I do. I just- if I'm going to stay at yours more than mine would you mind if I grabbed a few things?"
"Oh shit. I'm sorry Y/N I'm so stupid, I should have asked how you were feeling instead of having you stay at my place". He looked mad at himself for not thinking of it first.
"Hey" you said as you grabbed his hand and looked into his big brown eyes. "It's not yours fault, I really love being with you Eddie, and being at your place. I just need a few essential things, I should have just said something sooner" you reassured him with a smile. "Alright, show me the way my lady" he smiled as he gestured his hand to the road.
