You woke up to the sound of the alarm going off followed by the bed shifting and Eddie groaning as he turns the alarm off. He rolled back to face you, his hand landing on the side of your face followed by a kiss on your nose "Good morning, sweetheart" he hummed in a low morning voice "It's graduation day"
You opened your eyes and gazed into his big brown eyes "It's graduation day" you smiled as you whispered back before closing your eyes again.

After a few moments of walking around you found her "Mom" you called out.

"Congratulations sweetie, dad would have been very proud of you" she said.
"Thanks" you replied.
"So I um, I wanted to give you this now before you take off.." she pulled a small ring box out of her purse and handed it to you "...it was your grandmothers wedding band, whether you wear it or not is okay, I just wanted you to have it"
You opened the box and revealed a simple gold wedding band "thank you mom, I love it" you said as you hugged her.
"You're welcome" she said "I'm really sorry but I do have to run to work now, can we have dinner some time this week?" She asked.
"Sure" you said.
"Okay, I'll call you later honey. I love you" she said as she kissed your cheek before leaving.

Lunch went by quickly and before you knew it you were already on your way back home.

"Are you still down to go to Gareth's grad party tonight?" He asked.
"Yea of course!" You replied.
