Part 21 - STUDYING WITH EDDIE

The two of you sat down at the kitchen counter, hoping that if you were inside nothing would distract him. Eddie threw his books on the counter and awaited your guidance.
"Okay, let's start with Math" you said as you grabbed the book. Eddie quickly got out his pencil and paper and started writing down the lesson.

As a bit of time went on you were really proud of how much Eddie was taking in, you weren't sure how serious he was about you tutoring him but you were impressed.
"FUCK" Eddie said and he slammed his book closed.
"Hey, Eddie it's okay" you placed your hand over his little bat tattoo. "Here, let me show you". You proceeded to solve the math problem with ease. Eddie looked frustrated "babe come on, you're doing so well, it's just this one question that's stumping you. I know you can do it"
He looked at you with those big brown eyes of his and sighed "okay, let's see" he did the little tongue thing he always does whenever he's deep in thought. You gave him a few minutes before he was done.
"Okay, did I get it?" He asked
"Oh my god! Eddie! You did it!!" You cheered as you hugged him. "I'm so proud of you, I knew you could do it!" He gave you a bit smile, you could tell he's proud of himself. That was all Eddie needed, someone who believed in him and who could push him to succeed.

"Okay, what's next?" You asked
"Um- geometry" he said

The two of you worked hard for a couple more hours before Eddie called it for the studying, he was visibly tired from all of the studying you had him do but you knew it was helping. He put all of his books back into his bag once he was done his work and looked at you.
"Y/N... I seriously can't thank you enough"
"Of course Eddie! It was my pleasure" you said with a smile. Eddie grabbed your hand "No seriously, Y/N.... I don't think I'm going to pass without your help. So thank you" he now looked deep into your eyes, he was so genuine and sweet it almost made you want to cry
"Eddie, of course. I love you and I want to help you graduate. We're going to get you that diploma I promise" you said as you gave him a kiss.
"I really hope so, I can feel it. 86' baby!" He said with a big toothy grin.
