You woke up feeling excited for once, today was your 19th birthday. Even though you should have graduated by now you were still excited to be celebrating with your mom. Rubbing your eyes as you walked up the stairs from your room you headed into the kitchen only to find yet another note from your mom.

You scoffed "of course... wouldn't be a birthday without her working" you said to yourself. As you sighed you grabbed the money and headed back into your room to go lay back down. Just as you had crawled back into bed the doorbell rang "fuck" you said under your breath. You headed back upstairs and sighed before opening the door.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!" Eddie yelled.
You looked to his side and saw Dustin, Mike, Max, Steve, and Robin all standing with him. Each of them held a balloon in their hands. Tears started to form in your eyes as you saw everyone's smiling with gifts in their hands.
"You guys" you choked on your words, this was the sweetest thing anyone has ever done for you. Taking a step forward you hugged Eddie.
"Happy birthday, my love" he whispered quiet enough for only you to hear.
"Thank you" you whispered.

After letting everyone in you all crowded into the living room "Open my gift first" Dustin said. You grabbed the gift and quickly unwrapped it, revealing a black wrist watch with a calculator built in "No way! Thank you Dustin!" You said as you stood up and hugged the boy.

As time went on you opened the rest of your gifts, which mostly consisted of a couple new vinyls and some cute jewelry you thanked everyone for coming by. You said your goodbyes to everyone and closed the door before turning back to Eddie who now had a giant grin on his face, you smiled and ran towards him.
"Thank you Eddie" you started tearing up again "surprising me like that...that meant the world to me" you squeezed him tighter. His tattooed arms wrapped around you "Anything for you princess" he hummed "Now..." he pulled away and looked deep into your eyes "Where would you like to go for dinner?" He asked.
You paused as you put some thought into it "honestly... I just want to order pizza and watch a movie with you" you looked up into those big brown eyes "Is that okay?" You asked.
Eddie chuckled "it's your birthday babe, we can do whatever your heart desires" he kissed your forehead.

After dinner the two of you headed into your room to watch a movie "What are we watching?" Eddie asked. You looked over at him and smiled "16 Candles" you said as you pushed the VHS in the VHS player. The tape started whirling and you turned the overhead light off before crawling into bed with Eddie.

About 30 minutes had passed and the two of you had both gotten comfortable, Eddie's arm was wrapped around your waist and your head was resting on his shoulder. His hand started moving up and down your side until his hand slipped under your shirt, his warm hand felt amazing against your soft skin. You looked up at your boyfriend and smirked before leaning into a kiss.

Without breaking the kiss he laid you down underneath him softly with his arm wrapped around you. A soft moan escaped your mouth as Eddie put his leg between yours, pressing on your core. You smiled as you shimmied out of your pants, Eddie did the same and discarded them on the floor. Without hesitation you leaned into your night stand and grabbed a condom before passing it to him. You squeaked as you sat next to him, he handed you the gift and you carefully opened it, Eddie watched with anticipation. As you separated the tissue you saw something sparkly, another ring maybe?

Before you could even realize what was happening Eddie got down on his knee and smiled "Y/N Y/L/N... I know we still have to graduate high school... but I know that I want to spend the rest my life with you...I know that it's crazy but I started saving up for this ring the day that I met you" he paused as he grabbed the ring from your hand, his own hands were shaking like a leave in the fall "Will you... will you marry me?" He asked nervously.

Your heart sank to the bottom of your stomach, you couldn't believe this was happening, your jaw was surely on the floor at this point.
"YES" you shouted as you pounced onto Eddie, causing him to fall over and laugh "Yes a million times yes" you giggled as you attacked him with kisses. After a few seconds the two of you laid there in silence "I love you" you said.
"I love you too, Mrs Munson" he smirked.
"I love the sound of that" you whispered as you tucked his hair behind his ear. Eddie smiled and sat up, you did the same.

He grabbed your hand and slipped the ring onto your finger, you gasped at the gorgeous ring. The beautiful yellow gold band complimented the dark Ruby and halo of tiny diamonds perfectly.
"It's perfect" you whispered, you felt a tear roll down your face before looking back up at Eddie.
"So are you" he smiled before placing a kiss on your lips again.
