Part 36 - STEVES NYE PARTY

You had spent most of the winter break either at Eddie's or with Eddie. You invited Eddie over for Christmas with your mom, it was a nice and quiet day in with just the three of you. Eddie had bought you a small gift, a matching chain to wear on your belt loop like the one he wears, you wear it any chance that you get. You got Eddie a bunch of new guitar picks and more guitar strings, he loves them.

"Babe?" Eddie yelled from the bathroom, you walked over and turned the corner only to see Eddie using your crafting scissors to trim his bangs. "Yea?" You said as you leaned against the door
"Are you ready?" He asked "Yea, are you?" You laughed.
"Yes, let's go" he smiled as he put the scissors down and held your hand as you led the way.

The two of you walked up the stairs
"Okay mom, we're heading out!" You yelled.
"Okay hun, you two have fun and call me if you need a ride home okay?" She said as she came around the corner with a dish towel in her hand "Oh and Eddie, you're welcome to spend the night if you'd like" she said as she smiled at him.
"Thanks Mrs Y/L/N, will do" Eddie smiled as the two of you headed out the door.

Since Steve's house was only a few minutes away you decided to walk. Eddie held your hand the entire way to Steve's.
"You know, I was going to sleepover regardless of what your mom said" Eddie chuckled.
"I kind of figured you'd say that" you laughed as you walked up to the door of Steve's house.

You didn't bother knocking as the party was already in full swing so you just opened the door, Eddie leaned down into your ear "We aren't staying long, right?" He said.
"No don't worry, we'll be home before you know it" you smiled at him.

Eddie held on to your hand tighter as you walked through the party, you headed towards the kitchen and grabbed a beer for each of you, you opened them and handed one to Eddie "Cheers" you said as the two of you clinked bottles. The smell of alcohol and the sound of music blared all throughout the house.

"Y/N hey!" Robin said as she approached you.
"Hey!" You said as you brought her in for a hug.
"Hey Eddie" Robin added, he smiled "Hey"
"So, you two actually came! Steve was nervous you wouldn't actually come because you know the whole thing that happened but oh my god you're here!" Robin exclaimed.
"Heh, yea I wasn't sure we'd come either" Eddie said as he scratched the back of his head.
Robin looked back at you "We should hang out soon, just the two of us" she smiled.
"Sure Robin, I'd love that" you smiled.
"Alright well I'll see you guys around!" Robin said before disappearing into the crowd of people.

You turned to Eddie, who kept his focus on you
"I have to pee, are you okay here?" You asked. He nodded. You set your beer beside him and smiled as you walked away and headed upstairs to the bathroom, thankfully there wasn't a line this time . You entered the bathroom and locked the door behind you, once you were finished you washed your hands and headed back downstairs. You felt an arm grab you and push you against the way "Heyyyyy where does a pretty girl like you think you're going?" The guy practically slurred his words. You tried to yank your arm out of his grip but it was near impossible "Get. The. Fuck. Off. Of. Me." You spat. The man slipped his hand up your shirt, you grabbed his forearm and dug your nails into his skin as hard as you could and then you bashed your knee as hard as you could into the dudes crotch which knocked him to the floor. He started groaning in pain as his hands fell to his crotch.
"I said. Get the fuck off of me, asshole" you said as you looked down at him.

You looked around at the people who were now staring at you until you saw Eddie. You ran towards him and swung your arms around him
"Are you okay?" He asked as he embraced your hug.
"I am now" you said as you caught your breath.
The two of you stood there for a few moments before Eddie broke the silence "You know... that was pretty hot Y/N, the way you kicked that dude the ground" he whispered "my girls a badass" he said as you looked up to him.
"Oh yea?" You said in a seductive tone.
"Yea" Eddie said in a low voice before bringing you in for a kiss, the two of you locked lips in the middle of the hall way for everyone to see.

"Come on" you whispered as you took Eddie towards Steve's room, you swung the door open only to see Steve... fully nude on his bed and on top of some girl. He swung his head to the door "JESUS CHRIST GET OUT!" He yelled. You quickly covered your eyes and yelled "I AM SO SORRY! I'M LEAVING!" You backed up into the hallway and looked at Eddie as he closed the door. The two of you were too stunned to speak so you broke out in laughter "On second thought, maybe not" you laughed.

Eddie took your hand in his and led the way back into the kitchen where he grabbed some more beers, he cracked another open and passed it to you.

A few beers later...

You and Eddie were actually having a great time, the two of you stayed in the kitchen for the most part of the night. The countdown had begun for New Years "10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...1...HAPPY NEW YEAR!" Everyone shouted! You and Eddie turned to each other and celebrated with a kiss. Everyone around you was still cheering and wishing everyone else a happy new year while you and Eddie continued to kiss in the kitchen. You pulled away and looked at your boyfriend "I love you, Eddie Munson" you smiled
"I love you too Y/N Y/L/N" Eddie smiled back.

Looking around the party you saw Robin in the living room and walked over to her "Robin!" You said as you swung your arms around her neck "Happy new year!" You said with a big smile "You're so pretty" you looked into her eyes "like...so... so pretty" you hummed as you swayed side to side.
"Okay sweetheart, let's get you home" Eddie said as he pulled you off of Robin "Sorry about her" Eddie laughed nervously "But eddieeeee, I want Robin to come home with ussssss" you whined as he pulled you off of her.

Eddie wrapped his arm around your shoulder and guided you outside.
"I don't wanna go home" you pouted.
"Babe come on" he said the two of you stumbled outside. Eddie was drunk too, but not as drunk as you were. You stumbled in the direction of your house, you barely made it there before you fell to your knees on the side of the street "Eddie I don't feel so good" you whined as you placed your hands beside you to support yourself, Eddie carefully picked you up and brought you in closer "We're almost home sweetheart, just a few more steps okay?" He said in a calm voice. You nodded.

You finally stumbled into the front door of your house, Eddie helped you take your shoes off and held onto you as he walked you down the stairs. You b-lined it for the bathroom, and fell to your knees in front of the toilet instantly throwing up. You groaned as you held onto the sides of the toilet and continued throwing up. Eddie was quick to comfort you, he kneeled down beside you and pulled back your hair with one hand "shhhh. It's okay, you'll be okay" he whispered. You finally finished throwing up and flushed the toilet, Eddie helped you back up and to the sink as he helped you wash off your face. Your eyes tried to focus on his as you watched him clean you off.

"I'm going to marry you one day Munson, one day" you said as you tried to keep your balance "Not if I marry you first" he said with a big toothy grin "Come on, let's get you to bed" he said as he swung your arm around him. Eddie placed you on the bed carefully and you laid down. You let him take your jacket off but insisted on keeping your shirt on "Don't get any ideas Eddie" you teased as you wiggled out of your jeans. You laid back and watched as Eddie leaned over and turned your lamp on, he then walked to your door and closed it as he turned the overhead light off, which made the room instantly feel cozy.

You watched him as he undressed himself, only leaving his boxers on he crawled into bed beside you "God you're so hot" you whispered as you bit your bottom lip "Come here, sweetheart. Let's get some rest" he said in a low voice. You wiggled over to him and immediately rested your head on his chest, you focused on his heart beat as you started to doze off.
"Goodnight my love" you whispered as you rubbed your thumb back and forth over his tattoo.
"Goodnight sweetheart" he whispered as he kissed your forehead.
