Part 2 - AFTER SCHOOL

It's finally time to meet Eddie after school. What happens next is entirely up to you

"Fuck fuck fuck this is it Y/N" you thought to yourself as you walked out of the school doors. You looked around for Eddie's van that he gave no description of, but it wasn't hard to spot since he was standing in front of it with his arms crossed and it was the only hippy type of van anyone drove to school.

Your heart was pounding out of your chest "why do I feel like this? I only met Eddie today" you said to yourself. You forgot you were even walking until you realized you were quickly approaching him. "Y/N you came!" He said with the biggest and cutest smile on his face. "Yea, of course I did" you said quietly. "Shall we?" He asked as he put out his hand waiting for yours. "This is it Y/N, this is your chance to turn back before anything else happens" you thought to yourself but before you could convince yourself to leave you muttered out the words: "We shall" you said to Eddie as you reached out your hand to his. He gently grabbed it as he placed the softer kiss on the top of your hand, just as he was about to release his lips he looked up at you with those deep brown eyes of his. Jesus Christ. Your knees weakened a little.

As you got in his van he made sure you were alright as you seemed quite nervous (rightfully so as you just met this man today and now you're getting in his van). "Is everything alright sweetheart?" He asked. "Y-yes, I'm just a bit anxious that's all" you said. "I can drive you home if you'd like?" He asked in a very kind tone. "No, I promise I'm alright, I just have anxiety about being around new people, especially a cute guy" WHAT THE FUCK DID I JUST SAY THAT FOR AM I CRAZY?! Your eyes widened with immediate regret as you looked at him, he looked down and blushed as he said "I kind of know how you feel right now, I was actually thinking the same thing".

He put the van into drive as he pulled out of the school parking lot. "So, what brought you to Hawkins Y/N?" "Well, my mom is a single parent and she works for the government although I don't know exactly what she does. I just know that it causes us to move around North America a lot so that's kind of how I ended up here. Hopefully I can stay until graduation though, it feels like every time we get settled into a new place we're moving again. I'm 18 and have never had any friends that I've got to keep, nor have I ever had the chance to be in a relationship and kissing? Oh my god. Forget that. By the time I can even get the chance it feels like my mom rips me away from it all to start all over again" you rambled on and on for what felt like forever all the while Eddie sat in the drivers seat quiet, listening and absorbing every single word you said as if it was your last. Finally two pulled up at the local corner store for some Slurpee's.

Before you could get out of the car Eddie ran around and grabbed your door for you, "come on darlin'" he said as he winked. You entered the corner store. You looked around and saw nothing but chips, candy, and slushies as they filled the store front. Eddie was already at the back of the store grabbing his slurpee "get whatever you want Y/N, it's on me!" he said. Yea.. I'll be on you later you thought. You looked around and settled for a slurpee and some chips for you two to share for tonight. "Thank you" you said looking at Eddie, he smiled and winked at you again as you headed back to his van.

"ALRIGHT! What else can I show you? Hmm. I KNOW! The video store! You like movies right? I'm going to assume you do, let's go there!" Eddie said with excitement in his voice. He put the van into gear and off you went, it was just down the street from the corner store. Before you could get out of the van Eddie raced around again to open the door for you. A true gentle man you thought. As you two entered the store you forgot that Robin and Steve mentioned that they worked there. Fuck. They saw you two immediately but said nothing. Eddie waved you down to the horror section "A nightmare on Elm Street! Y/N have you seen this?" "Not yet I haven't" you said. "Alright then it settled, we're renting this but only if you're comfortable coming over to my place to watch it" he said. This is it y/n, a cute boy has finally invited you over to his place don't fuck this up. "My mom works nights so I don't have a curfew, so sure let's go to yours and watch it" you replied. "Awesome!" Eddie said. He went to the counter to pay for the rental as you looked around the video store. "Alright good to go!" He reached out his hand for yours in hopes you would grab it which you didn't hesitate to do.

Back in his van he turned to you "you ready?"
"Yes" you said with a grin on your face. Eddie put the van into gear and you were headed to his place.
