Part 41 - DINNER WITH WAYNE

You and Eddie headed back into the kitchen, Wayne was rummaging through their junk drawer for any take out flyers he could find. He grabbed a handful and put them on the counter.
"Pick what you guys want, I'm fine with anything" Wayne said.

You and Eddie looked through the different menus before landing on your favourite, pizza. You looked at Eddie and tapped your finger on the local pizza joint, he smiled and nodded "How bout pizza?" He said as he turned to Wayne.
"Yea sure, I'll just eat whatever you guys eat" he said.

The three of you decided on getting a large pepperoni and a large meat lovers pizza to all share. Eddie headed to the phone and rang the pizza joint.

"Eddie has told me a lot about you" he said.
"Oh really, like what?" You smiled as you looked at Eddie, who seemed to look a bit anxious as he was still on the phone.
"Ah all the good stuff, just that you're a sweet girl" he smiled.

"They said it'll be about half an hour" Eddie said as he walked back over to where you sat "Come on, I want to show you something before the food gets here" Eddie said as he pulled you away from Wayne. The two of you headed into Eddie's room and he closed the door behind you. You looked at Eddie as he rummaged through his dresser "What was so important?" You giggled.
"This" he said as he turned to face you. He handed you a tape "I um, made you your own mix tape" he smiled nervously "I put some of our favourite songs on it, from Iron Maiden, Motörhead, to Ozzy I just wanted you to have that to listen to whenever you want" he smiled.
You looked down at the tape again, it read 'Y/N & EDDIES SONGS' you looked back up at Eddie, who was waiting patiently for your reply.
A giant grin appeared on your face as you read through some of the songs he wrote down "Eddie, Oh my god. I love it" you swung your arms around him as you brought him in for a hug, you leaned your head on his shoulder "Thank you" you whispered. Eddie's hands landed on your back "Anything for you, sweetheart" he said.

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK. You heard someone at the door so you and Eddie left his room.Wayne answered the door and there stood the pizza guy, you and Eddie grabbed a few drinks from the fridge as Wayne paid the guy. Wayne placed the two pizzas on the kitchen counter "Dig in" he said as he grabbed a few plates from the cupboard. The three of you grabbed a few slices and sat around the living room.

"So Y/N, what do your parents do?" Wayne asked as he grabbed a slice of pizza.
You looked at Eddie as you took a bite of your pizza "Well, my mom and I moved here for her job back in late August, she works at a government facility but I'm not allowed to know anything other than that..." you chuckled "...and um as for my dad. I um, I don't really like to talk about it" you said as you picked off a piece of pepperoni from your pizza.
"Oh I'm sorry-" Wayne said.
"-Um Y/N are gunna head out after dinner" Eddie interrupted.
You looked at Eddie quickly and then back at Wayne "No worries, I'll probably be in bed by the time you two get back anyways" he said as he finished his pizza.
"Actually Mr Munson, is it alright if Eddie stays at my place for the night?" You asked.
He shrugged his shoulders "You ain't gotta ask me" he smiled as he looked at Eddie.

The three of you finished what you could of the pizza before you and Eddie decided to head out.
"Thank you for dinner, Mr Munson" you said as you helped clean up.
"You're welcome kid. And please, just call me Wayne" Wayne said as he smiled "I'm sure I'll be seeing you again" he added.
"I'm sure you will" you said as you gathered your personal items. Eddie opened the trailer door for you and the two of you headed out.

Once inside Eddie's van you looked at him "You know we've got school in the morning right?" You giggled.
"Yea, I know" he smiled "That's why we're going to your house" he added.
"And what if I say no?" You crossed your arms over your chest and pretended to pout.
"No, we are" he smirked as he put the van into gear.

The two of you took off and headed back to yours, your moms car wasn't in the drive way so she must be at work again, big surprise. You hopped out of Eddie's van and headed to the front door, just as you were putting the key in the lock you felt a smack on your ass. You turned around "Eddie!" You said.
"I'm sorry sweetheart. I couldn't help myself, your ass just looks too good in those jeans" he smirked before biting his bottom lip.
"Jeeze. Don't cream your pants on my front step Munson" you laughed as you opened the door.

You tossed your bag on the floor and walked into the kitchen, usually your mom leaves you notes on the counter or fridge so you looked around and sure enough there was a note on the fridge.

"Hi hun,

I'm going to be working late all week so I'll most likely just sleep at work. I left you money in your room for food for the week. I'm sorry we haven't seen each other much lately, but I promise we'll have dinner together next weekend.

Ps: Eddie is more than welcome to come to dinner with us. He can stay over too this week as long as you two stay out of trouble :)

"Big surprise" you sighed as you put the note on the counter. Eddie came and hugged you from behind "What's wrong?" He asked as he started swaying the two of you side to side.
"Just my mom" you exhaled sharply "I just, I love her I do, it's just hard to have a relationship with her when I barely ever see her" you sighed before remembering Eddie doesn't see his parents either "I'm sorry, that's very privileged of me to say in front of you. I shouldn't ha-"
"Y/N, it's okay" Eddie said in a reassuring tone "I understand what you mean" he continued to sway side to side "You don't have to be sorry" he whispered.

You let out another big sigh "Thank you" you said as you placed your hands over his forearms, you closed your eyes and enjoyed this moment. Eddie started humming a song and tapping along, you couldn't figure out which song it was but it was comforting to hear him hum.
"I like whatever your humming" you whispered.
"It's not finished yet" he said as he smiled.
You turned around to face him "A song for your band?" You asked.
"Yea, something like that" he smiled as he kissed the tip of your nose.

"Come on, let's go to your room" he said as he took your hand in his. You followed as he led the way to your room, he turned the lamp beside your bed on along with your lava lamp for maximum cozy vibes. Walking over to your dresser you grabbed your pyjamas "Do you need anything to sleep in?" You asked.
Eddie looked at you and smiled "Nah. I'll just sleep in my boxers"
You smiled "You know, since my mom won't be home all week you can stay here with me if you'd like"
"I don't knowwwww, I'm pretty busy all week" he teased "Of course I will sweetheart" he laughed "I'll just need to go to my place tomorrow and grab some clean clothes".
"And your homework" You added.
"Oh shit yea, I guess that too" he chuckled as he started stripping out of his clothes, you watched as he took his shirt off exposing his tattooed body. Turning back to your dresser you took your shirt off and tossed it into the laundry bin and slipped on your usual over sized bed time shirt, you slide your jeans off and kicked them aside before turning towards your bed. Eddie had already made himself comfy, like he always does when he's at your place.

You giggled as you crawled into bed and on top of Eddie, he placed his hands on either side of your hips "You're beautiful" he whispered as he looked into your eyes, you smiled "You're beautiful too" you whispered back. Eddie pulled you in for a kiss, your lips pressed against his warm plump lips, they moved in perfect rhythm with his. You felt his tongue poke at the entrance of your mouth so you let him in, his wicked tongue whirled around your mouth as it fought for dominance. Of course you let him win. He hummed into the kiss before you broke it, looking into his big brown eyes you whispered "We should get some rest since we have school in the morning"
"Yea, your probably right" he sighed "but you're mistaken if you don't think we're having sex" tomorrow though" he added.
"My my, someone's a horn dog" you giggled.
"With a girlfriend like you, how could I not be" he laughed as he pulled into the spoon position.

You pulled the blanket over the two of you, his hand moved up to your hair and moved it away from your face, his arm dropped and wrapped around your waist. Eddie sighed peacefully "I could stay like this forever and ever"
You closed your eyes and smiled "Me too, Eddie"
