Part 57 - LET ME TAKE CARE OF YOU

"Thank you for breakfast" you said as you handed Eddie your plate "It was delicious, as always" you smiled.
"Anything for you" he said with a giant grin "go lay down I'll clean up"
"I can help" you said
"Please Y/N, go lay down" he said with a stern voice.

You huffed at Eddie but went to rest as per his request. After crawling back into his bed you struggled to get comfortable, your cramps had now intensified and we're almost crippling you.
"Are you okay babe?" Eddie asked as he entered the room.
"No" you winced "can you take me home?" You asked.
Eddie looked at you "No, you can stay right here. I'm taking care of you today" he said as he crawled into bed with you.
"Eddie..." you paused.
"I'm not letting you leave" he said as he wrapped his arms around you, bringing you in for a tight cuddle "Tell me what I can do to help" he said softly.
You hummed and closed your eyes "This.. this is more than enough right now" you said.

Eddie moved his hand down and rested it on your abdomen, his warm hand felt so good against your skin. You closed your eyes and focused on his warm touch, within minutes you fell asleep again.

—————Eddie's POV—————

Y/N was fast asleep so you decided to take this chance and go out to get her a few things. You were able to slip out of bed and into your van without her noticing. Putting the van into gear you sped off and headed for the store.

You looked down at the little list you had quickly wrote down on your hand, it read:

- Ice cream
- Pain killers
- Tampons?

As you walked down the aisles looking for these items you bumped into Steve.
"Shit sor-" Steve said as he turned around "Oh hey man" he said.
"Hey, sorry I wasn't paying attention" you chuckled nervously.
"No worries" Steve said as he looked down at the items in your hands "For Y/N?" He asked.
"Yea, she's uh not doing so hot today" you said.
"That's too bad..." he said "Here, tell her this is from me" he said as he passed you a chocolate bar from his shopping bag.
"Thanks man" you said.
"No worries, I'll see you around" he said as he exited the store.

Before you headed home you stopped at the corner store to grab Y/N her favourite slushy and some cigarettes for yourself. About 45 minutes had passed by the time you arrived back home, grabbing the bag of stuff and Y/N's drink you headed inside.
"Babe?" You called out, no answer.

Walking into your room you saw her still fast asleep, you set her drink in the nightstand before heading into the kitchen to put away the ice cream. When you got back into your room you kneeled down by the bed and whispered "Y/N?" You said as you rubbed her arm "sweetheart wake up" you said.
You watched as her brows furrowed before slowly opening her gorgeous eyes "What time is it?" She asked.
"It's still morning" you said as you brushed her hair back "I got you something" you smiled.
She slowly sat up, supporting herself with her arm "oh yea?" She said as she rubbed her eye.
You handed her the small bag and watched as she opened it "oh babe, thank you" she said as she pulled out the items one by one.
"Oh and this" you said as you passed her the drink.
Her eyes lit up as she took a sip "mmm" she hummed "Thank you Eddie" she said as she leaned in for a kiss.
"Oh and I can't take all of the credit-this is from Steve, I ran into him at the store" you said as you pointed at the chocolate bar.
"Aw that's kind of him" she smiled before looking back up at you "I'm glad the two of you get along"
"Yea" you sighed "It took awhile but so am I, he's a cool dude".

"What would you like to do today?" You asked.
"Ummm, we could go rent a few movies and come back and watch them while we cuddle?" She said.
You smiled, that sounds like the perfect day, this is why you love this woman.
"I would love that" you said as you set everything aside and sat on the bed beside her "Come on" you said as you reached out your hand for hers.
