It was 2:00pm when Olivia called to inform me of my one hour lunch break. I wasn't even half way done with all the things on this stupid list. Prepare a contract, make dinner reservations, make a list of the guests for the company anniversary and blah blah, like seriously don't this people know it's my first day, how I'm I suppose to do all this? I pushed my spin chair backwards, yes that's what I'm calling it don't judge.

"Third floor here I come." I murmured heading out of my office, my office! Sarah will so envy this. No one was on the floor when I got out. The elevator was also on the other side of the hallway, what a long trek. "

"Finally " I sighed dramatically, looking back into the distance were my office door sat. Pushing the button to open the elevator and I walked inside just as someone screamed.

"Hey! hold it." Where did the person come from? Doing as told I waited.

"God this heels are killing me." She groans walking into the elevator. "Hey thanks by the way."

"Welcome" I stared. She was a short woman explaining the extremely high heels, god I couldn't see myself walking in that, torture.

The lady had brown wavy locks tied up in a sleek ponytail that reached her lower back. Her eyes were hazel and her nose was small and cute.

"I'm Lizzy." I smiled stretching my hand for a shake. She returns it looking me up and down in a curious way.

"You look young."

"Yes I'm 18."

"What are you doing here then?" It wasn't rude she was just curious.

"I'm Mr Queen's new PA."

"Oh! okay don't mind my manners, Anya."

"Pleasure meeting you ma'am."

"Oh please I'm 30 don't make me feel old." She waves off with a chuckle.

"Sorry." I smiled sheepishly. We were silent after that. What do you discuss with a woman almost twice your age? Nothing so I focused on the wall beside me as the elevator moved down. The elevator finally came to a stop.

"It was nice to meet you Anya." I waved before walking ahead of her noting that we got off on the same floor, my stiletto connected with the marble floor with a click. Ms Jones was right even if it wasn't the only room here the chattering of employees would lead you to the right place. I entered feeling subconscious but no one even looked at me making me breath out in relief. I joined the queue for food and it was quicker than expected with multiple caterers serving. When it was my turn I salivated, everything you could dream off was here.

"Hurry up." Someone called behind me making me blush and quickly point out the things I wanted and stepped aside. "Sorry if I was rude I'm starving." The elderly man smiles before focusing on his order. I swept my eyes across the room, scanning for my father, he sat alone with his laptop on the metal table before him. What an irony, Queen enterprise is a wood furniture company and they use metal tables and chairs. I hurried towards him and this attracted half of the employees attention. They all looked shocked and I could understand why, my dad was a big shot at the company being a partner and all and he was always so serious and spared no time to make friends.

"Hello handsome." I teased smirking down at him before seating down. He looks up with a scowl which automatically turns into a smile on seeing me. I heard gasps around us.

"It seems you're popular with the ladies?" I joked and he rolled his eyes at my silliness.

"How is work?"

"Stressful! why didn't you tell me it was going to be this hard." I whined like a little girl.

"You don't make the money you're making lazing around." He glares at me, there goes my attempt to make him feel pity for me.  He was right though, the pay was really good, too good if I'm being honest.
