"Why are you tailing me?" I frowned staring at her, "I'm a freshman like you and I just want us to be friends" she blushed. I bit down on my tongue to hold a laugh. I didn't want to come off as a bitch but our gang consisted of pretty girls and she was not it. She had a cute face but she needs to sign up in a gym for the right figure. She was too short to be fat. "Don't take this the wrong way....." I let her fill in her name, "Lydia". "Lydia" I repeated. "Lizzy!" Sarah yells pulling Gera and some girl behind her. "We've being waiting for hours" she whines, "who's this?" Gera turns to the girl. "Lydia" I say, "oh hi" Sarah fakes a smile before turning back to me. "What's the hold up?" "Sorry Lydia wanted to talk but we're done right Lydia?" "Right" she murmurs I felt bad but there was nothing I could do. "Let's go" I nodded following behind when we got to the parking lot. I cracked, "who are you?" I faced the girl who was joined to Sarah's side. "Exactly what I asked" Gera crossed her arms. "Guys! Don't be rude" Sarah rolls her eyes. "Who is she Sarah?" "My friend Yvonne," "good your friend nice. Can you tell her she isn't following us anywhere?" I frowned. Yvonne frowns looking at Sarah, "Lizzy...". "Not happening Sarah. We don't bring our individual friends along on a girl's day out simple" I unlocked my car climbing in. Gera joins me in the front and I could see Sarah explaining something to her new 'friend'. She slams the door closed behind her. "Don't you dare Sarah that's my car" I glared at her, "sorry boss" she rolled her eyes. "Lydia wanted to be friends also but I turned her down," "what?! That fat thing?" "Sarah!" I warned. "The point is you can't expect us to put up with your friends" I shrugged before turning the car on. "She's pretty cool you guys should give her a chance," "maybe but you went about it in a totally wrong way". That was the end to that conversation as I drove us to the salon. We signed up for a full body massage first.
I moaned as the lady touched all my aching bones. Gera was laughing on her own table beside me. I cursed her out in my mind. After the massage we did our nails. "I needed this" I sighed as I leaned into the chair, "yeah me too" Sarah smiles from my right. Gera sat on my left picking out a color. "I want to straighten my hair" Gera says, "why? I love your curls" I touched her hair in emphasis. "Me too but I want something new for the party alot of rich kids are going to be there" she says reminding me of the party tomorrow. Atleast it was a weekend party so I could sleep in the next day. "I'll curl mine then" I murmured. "Curls will look good on you Lizzy" Sarah gushed, "yeah it would" Gera adds. After our nails was done we paid to get our hair done. I dyed mine back to black before curling it. They sprayed something on it when they were done to keep the curls in place. I touched the hair in awe. I looked so good the fluffy hair complimented my slim face. Geraldine's hair reached below her shoulders when it was straightened.
"Let's eat out" Sarah says as we left the salon, "yeah I'm tired" I bit back a yawn. We stopped to dine in an Italian restaurant by the time we got home it was few minutes pass eight. "Goodnight guys," "night" they chorused before all three doors shuts. I showered quickly before slipping under the covers.
I flipped the pancakes into Sarah's plate before placing the rest in mine. With a cup of milk along side I took my plate to the dinning and the girls joined me. We had a few hours to spend before we had to get ready for the party. My phone disrupts the silence. Silas Fisher's name pops up. "I'll take this" I excused myself going pass the living room out of the house. "Hello" I called out. "Hey Lizzy I'm in town," "yeah about that. That's not the kind of person I am,that was a mistake" I say in one breath. "Oh!" "Yeah sorry" I sucked my lips waiting, "okay cool" then he hung up. It was for the best I was not going to lose myself because of a breakup. I walked back inside, "who was that?" "Silas Fisher I called it off" I smiled feeling relieved. "That's good Lizzy" Sarah gives my hand a squeeze and I nodded before digging into my breakfast.Once we washed the plate Sarah of all people suggested we head to the library. We raced there to decide who takes the window seat and I won being taller and all. "You....you....and your long legs" Sarah gasps bent over hands on her knees. I laughed also trying to catch my breath. I picked up my all time favorite, pride and prejudice before seating by the window.
I stared at the red gown with a small smile, "I have found my dress" I called out taking it from the hanger and joining them. "Finally!" Sarah sighs she was already in her blue gown. Gera chuckles from my vanity table were she was doing her makeup. I ignored them going into the bathroom to shower before slipping on the dress. It was free and stopped on my mid thigh. The red went perfectly with my black hair. I joined them in the room taking my makeup kit to do my makeup. Once I was done I wore my black wedge and held my purse. "I'm calling a cab!" Gera says leaving the room. "I'm so getting drunk tonight" Sarah sighs. "I know that look what's wrong?" I sat down beside her. "It's Stuart it's like he likes me but is too scared to make a move". "Sarah the guy doesn't like you. You're only pushing yourself on him because his cute". "You're right I'm going to get wasted and forget about that guy," "Sarah.....," "I know I know" she groans. "Bitches the cabs here!" "We'll talk about this later" I hugged her before walking out the door. "What took so long?" "Girl problems," "bitch I'm a girl what's up?" "Can we tone down the bitch language I'm not in the position to take that as a joke" Sarah frowns. "Okay? Chill. What's wrong with her?" Gera whispers, "alot" I whispered back before looking out my window. The ride was pretty long as we rode into the rich people zone. Again I'm so glad I don't have snobby bitches as my neighbor. "Damn girl!" Gera whistles. "Two storey for a house damn indeed" Sarah adds. "It's pretty cool" I had to admit but drunk teenagers sprang out on the front porch didn't make it Oscar worthy.♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
